How to reach the conference area The closest metro stations: Národní třída = yellow line B Staroměstská = the green line A The closest tram stops: Národní divadlo = trams No. 2, 9, 18, 22, 23 in front of the National Theatre / tram No. 17 in front of Žofín. From the Prague Václav Havel Airport By public transport Take a bus No. 119 from the airport and go to the terminal stop Nádraží Veleslavín, continue by metro (underground) to the station Staroměstská (in the direction Depo Hostivař ). Get off and continue by tram No. 17 to the stop Národní divadlo (in the direction Sídliště Modřany ).Or take a bus No. 100 to the terminal stop "Zličín", continue by metro to the station "Národní třída" (in the direction "Černý most") and then 1 stop by tram or by walk. You will need a basic ticket for 32 CZK. By Airport Express Bus (AE) The AE bus goes every half hour from Terminal 1 and 2. Get off at the stop Hlavní nádraží. A ticket for 60 CZK is available at the driver. Then continue by tram No. 9 (from "Bolzanova" Street) and go to the stop Národní divadlo (in the direction Sídliště Řepy ). You will need a ticket for 24 CZK. By taxi A taxi ride from the airport to the Žofín Palace can take approx. 20 30 minutes and can cost about 500 CZK ( 20 EUR). From the main railway station Praha - Hlavní nádraží By public transport Take a tram No. 9 and go to the stop "Národní divadlo" (National Theatre) You will need a basic ticket for 24 CZK. By taxi A taxi ride can take approx. 20 minutes and can cost about 300 CZK ( 15 EUR). By own car There isn t any available parking place at the Slavonic Island, therefore it is not recommended to use own car. Prague Public Transport Ticket Each participant received one conference ticket for the Prague public transport. It is valid from Monday till Friday on metro, buses and trams within zones P and 0, not on trains and the line AE (Airport Express bus). The ticket is valid only together with your badge. Lost tickets will not be compensated.

Badges Please wear your badge throughout the conference, in particular for the conference social programme and coffee breaks. Only participants with a conference badge can enter lecture halls. Payments on site There will be possibility to pay in cash or by credit cards on site, nevertheless we would like to ask all participants to settle the bill for registration fees and other ordered services in advance before the conference. Programme Each participant will receive a printed version of the conference programme The Conference4me smartphone app provides you with the most comfortable tool for planning your participation. The programme will be online at www.indico.ipp.cas.cz/event/13/timetable Instructions for Authors Oral presentations Plenary talks will be 35 min (30 + 5 min discussion). Invited oral presentations will be held for the four topics of the conference separately, slots of 30 min (25+5 min) have been allocated. 15 min (12+3 min) will be given to contributed orals. Each meeting room is equipped with a Windows PC. Supported presentation formats are Microsoft PowerPoint and PDF. We recommend using the 16:10 aspect ratio for your slides. You may test your presentation in the LOC room in Žofín. You have to upload your presentation file on the conference laptop at least 15 minutes before the beginning of the session, in which the talk is given.

Poster presentations Poster table size: The pintable is 1800 mm high and 970 mm wide. Before putting up your poster, please make sure that you are in the correct session. You will find your paper number attached to the poster wall. Please note, that it is not possible to print out your poster on site. Each author is responsible for mounting his/her material prior to the opening of the poster session (ideally the same day in the morning). Assistance and material for mounting the posters will be available at the poster desk in the poster area. Material that has not been taken down by the authors till 19:00 will be removed by the organization and destroyed. Social programme Welcome party The Welcome party will take place in Mánes on Monday, July 2 from 19:30 till 22:00. The party is complimentary for all registered participants, the price for accompanying persons and guests is 650 CZK. Conference dinner The Conference dinner will be held in Rudolfinum on Thursday, July 5 from 20:00 till 22:30. The dinner is not included in the fee and the price is 1 550 CZK. The capacity is limited, therefore no tickets will be available on site at the registration desk. Only participants with a conference badge and invitation card are allowed to enter the dinner halls. Lunch for Women in plasma physics The lunch will take place on Tuesday, July 3 from 12:40. Only participants are registered in advance can visit this special accompanying event and will receive an invitation card.

Excursions The excursions to the Institute of Plasma Physics (IPP) & PALS (Prague) and to ELI Beamlines & HiLASE (Dolní Břežany) are planned for Wednesday afternoon. The capacity is already fully booked and it is not possible to register for these events. Bus departures - from the Slavonic Island from a parking place in front of the Žofín Palace. ELI Beamlines & HiLASE: departure at 14:00, an expected return to Prague at 17:00, to the metro station Budějovická (red line C). Institute of Plasma Physics (COMPASS & PALS): Please sign on an info-poster in the registration area and book your seat on a bus at 14:00 or 15:30. Accommodation & Sightseeing tours The accommodation and sightseeing tours are provided by ACTIVE TRAVEL Company. The conference offer of hotel capacities is already closed, but several rooms are still available on request. Due to very low interest of participants several sightseeing tours have to be cancelled. Of course, participants who have already paid for them will receive their money back. You should receive all necessary information directly from Active Travel. Usually you can book many excursions and tours directly at your hotel reception desk as well.
