SULLIVAN LEISURE TIME CLUB LATE WINTER/ SPRING 2017 Hi LTC Members! 2017 is the 50 th anniversary of the founding of the Leisure Time Club!! Wow!! 50 years! That s quite a milestone. To celebrate we have planned a wonderful evening out on Wednesday, May 10 th at the White Tail restaurant located at Woodcrest golf club. Look for your invitation enclosed with this newsletter. If you haven t paid your 2017 dues, you need to do so before signing up for the dinner. Thank you for your continued support of our programs. President Theresa. ROBIN S ANNOUNCEMENTS I m currently working to finish up the activity schedule for 2017. I m excited about the trip to Stowe, Vermont from August 14 th to 17th. We have a new sign up policy in effect. We hope this makes signing up more efficient. There is a form on the last page of this flyer. SULLIVAN SENIOR OF THE YEAR Each year since 1993, we have honored a Senior of the Year. This year we are pleased to announce that Bud and Mary Lou Penner have been chosen. They will be honored at our annual Lion s Club dinner on April 23rd. Congratulations Bud & Mary Lou!! ANNUAL LION S CLUB DINNER Senior Recognition Day DATE: Sunday, April 23 LOCATION: Parks & Recreation building TIME: Doors open at 11:30 am FEE: Seniors Free. Guests under 60: $10.00 RESERVATIONS: by April 14. DETAILS: This popular roast beef dinner is open to all Sullivan residents, ages 60 and older. Entertainment will follow dinner prepared and served by the Chittenango Lions Club members. All former Seniors of the year are encouraged to attend. INCOME TAX COUNSELING Free Income tax help is available to seniors. Charlie Grover, Floyd Doney, and Sandra Hatch, trained IRS volunteers, will be available to do tax returns on Tuesday and Thursday mornings until April 13 at the Sullivan Free Library on Falls Blvd. For an appointment, contact the Parks & Rec Office at 315-687-3471.
