The River Dart Experience At River Dart Country Park we offer an unforgettable holiday experience set within 90 acres of wonderful woods, beautiful lakes and breathtaking parkland. Visit for the day, stay on our touring site or even sample Bed & Breakfast in our luxurious en-suite rooms. Children can splash about in our Pirate Ship Lake, race parents on our commando style assault course, swing through trees on Jungle Fun, play tennis, and enjoy our games room with pool tables and amusements. Toddlers aren t left out either with our Toddlers Beach with adjacent picnic area and Lilliput, perfect for tiny explorers. Dare Devils Dare Devils are instructor supervised adventure activities. Go on - we dare you! Activities are operated by CRS Adventures at an extra charge. 1 token = 1, Dare Devil Tokens can be purchased on the day from CRS Adventures, unused tokens are refundable. Dare Devils will be open every day 5th - 20th April, 3rd - 5th May, 24th May - 1st June and 19th July - 31st August. Plus weekends from April - September. High Ropes Course With high adrenalin elements including a river crossing our course provides a real test of your nerves and skill. (14 tokens per go) Indoor Climbing and Bouldering Wall The ultimate experience for any budding climber - 220 square metres of safe modern undercover fun. Day Activities With CRS Adventures - one-day adventure experiences. Enjoy rock climbing and abseiling around Dartmoor, a day in an open boat canoe on the Dart Estuary, build a shelter at our Forest School or go caving in Pridhamsleigh, one of our local caves. Led by fully qualified and experienced instructors, these experiences are for any one aged 8 years or over. Children can take part unaccompanied by parents or join in and make a great family day out! Children are awarded a certificate for successfully completing the day. Day Activities include: Forest Schools Get inspired and motivated through positive outdoor learning. Activities include making bird boxes & clay models, building fires, shelters and much more. All ages welcome! Canoeing on the River Dart Estuary. Rock climbing on and around Dartmoor. Bed & Breakfast Holne Park House interior Holne Park House is our elegant wedding and conference venue with 9 en-suite bedrooms. We are pleased to be able to offer these luxurious bedrooms on a B&B basis. Rooms are available for a minimum of two nights, advanced booking is essential. Free Adventures Guests staying in our B&B rooms have FREE access to River Dart Adventures for the duration of their stay. (Dare Devils not included) Accommodation All rooms are en-suite, furnished to the highest standard and come with TV / DVD player and tea and coffee making facilities. Green Environment At the River Dart Country Park we are keen to keep our environment clean and green. We are now producing 1,100 mwh of heat and power from renewable sources, saving 480 tonnes of carbon per year. Our hydro-electric turbine, which uses water from the river was the first of its kind in the UK. Available for all to see and making us selfsufficient for 8 months of the year, saving 180 tonnes of carbon per annum. Our Biomass Boiler and District heating scheme replaces 11 oil/lpg boilers and provides hot water to the Woodlands and Meadows amenity blocks, the Coach House, Holne Park House, The Old Sawmill Café Bar and two other properties. This scheme is carbon neutral and saves over 300 tonnes of carbon per year. Our aim is to have a zero to landfill waste management system. You can help by using our recycling points around the park for glass, tin and plastic and by separating food waste. In addition to this the Park also composts food waste and recycles cardboard. 2011 Finalists Solar PV Our 20kWh solar PV scheme supplies two amenity blocks with green electricity. We have reduced our carbon footprint by over 80% since 2006. Biomass Boiler We generate our own ecologically sound, hydro-electric power using the flow of the river - making us self-sufficient 8 months of the year. Woodchip Fuel Store Zero to Landfill Together with our partners Devon Contract Waste, we are aiming for Zero to landfill! Devon Contract Waste in Exeter have a state of the art MFR sorting machine which separates all types of rubbish. Glass and food waste need to be separated and bins/ bags are provided. We request that all of your food waste, food preparation and leftovers, are put in the bag provided and then placed in the clearly marked food waste bins. Please separate all food waste. The Carbon Cycle Recycling Bins All food waste will go to a local Anaerobic Digester and used to generate green electricity! Zero to Landfill Please help us to be zero heroes. 13

Bookings are accepted for a minimum of two nights during Low Season or Mid Season and three nights during High Season. Maximum of 6 persons per pitch. Young people under eighteen years old must be accompanied by parents or guardians. Any visitors to residents will be admitted only on payment of the day visitor fee. New arrivals to the campsite are not possible after 8pm or dusk. Electrical equipment must comply with safety regulations for connection to the site supply. Please bring your own electric cables. Camping & Touring check-in: Please check-in between 1pm and 8pm on day of arrival and vacate by 11am on day of departure. If you are delayed please telephone before 5pm to make late arrival arrangements. Terms and Conditions By placing a booking with us you are confirming that you and all members of your party (if applicable) have read, understood and accepted our tariffs, terms and conditions. Confirmation will be sent by email unless requested by post. On booking full payment will be required. You will receive confirmation within seven working days: please check your details and if any are incorrect contact us immediately by telephone. Bookings are not transferable and in the event of cancellation, late arrival or early departure no refunds will be given: we strongly recommend independent insurance cover to limit your exposure in such cases. While we endeavour to give people the pitches that they request we cannot always guarantee this. We reserve the right to reallocate any pitch not occupied by 9am on the day following its booking.
