ENHANCING DOWNTOWN We have continually seen growth in our downtown area, especially in the last month. New businesses have opened their doors and existing businesses have expanded. As many of you may have noticed, we now have two new outdoor patio areas downtown. Saucy and Schat s Bakery have added outdoor seating to their restaurants, now serving customers outdoors. This is made possible due to a program through the City of Ukiah. The patio at Schat s Bakery is open for breakfast and lunch; Saucy s patio is open for lunch and dinner. These addi tions have been completed just in time to enjoy the summer weather, enhancing the atmosphere of our downtown. Bona Marketplace, owned and operated by Leslie Bartolomei, opened for business on May 5th. Bona Marketplace specializes in custom framing and features unique jewelry, accessories, and art work. Currently, the store is filled with summer hats to shade you on these hot summer days, colorful silk pillows, bright jewelry, and a few classic pieces as well. Bona Marketplace is a great addition to our downtown! Stop by 116 W. Standley Street and say hello. Schat s Bakery Inside view of Bona Marketplace Saucy
