2 Coventry University A World of Opportunity Coventry University is nestled in the heart of the City and occupies a compact, single site campus providing students with unrivalled access to University services. Its presence within the City Centre is highlighted through its recent 100 million campus investment with the The Engineering and Computing Faculty Building opening in 2013 by Her Royal Highness, Princess Ann. Coventry has recently been awarded Best Modern University for the third consecutive year, whilst we are also joint first for Teaching Quality alongside Oxford and Cambridge according to a recent NSS Survey. Lanchester Library A stunning feature of Coventry University is the Lanchester Library, which is a high-tech centre for information access in a state-of-the-art energy efficient Building. Alongside an extensive collection of books and current periodicals, the Library offers 1150 study spaces, extended opening hours, electronic information sources and an extensive audio-visual collection. The HUB The HUB really is the centre of student campus life - the place to gether, meet friends, grab a Costa Coffee, or a meal in the fantastic food court (where you will be having your meals). Costcutter on the ground floor is great for daily essentials while you can buy Coventry University gifts and souvenirs from the Students Union shop on the first floor. This RIBA (Royal Institute for British Architects) Awarded Building also has computers to work on, pods and meeting spaces for groups work and seminars sessions and even bean bags if you just fancy a rest before your next lecture. In the HUB, you will also find the Faith and Spirituality Centre, the student doctors and counselling, student services and Square One 3D Cinema.
