INVITATION TO PARTNER Perth will host the 2nd Australasian Exploration Geoscience Conference (AEGC) from Monday 2 to Thursday 5 September 2019 at Crown Perth. The AEGC is the largest petroleum and mineral geoscience conference in Australasia, and incorporates the West Australian Basin Symposium (WABS) and the ASEG-PESA International Geophysical Conference and Exhibition. The event will be jointly hosted by the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG), Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists (ASEG), and Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia (PESA). The AEGC conference will attract a large number of delegates from across the spectrum of Australasian geosciences (including geologists, geophysicists, and geochemists) from the mineral, petroleum, and water resource industries, representing international and local companies, government and academia. A vital component of the 2019 conference will be the inclusion of dedicated streams for Australian basins, discovery techniques, mineral mapping, and remote sensing applications. The theme for the 2019 event is Data to Discovery and the conference organizing committee aim to provide sponsors and exhibitors with more exposure than ever before. THE EVENT & TECHNICAL PROGRAM The Australian Institute of Geoscientists, the Australian Society of Exploration Geophysicists, and Petroleum Exploration Society of Australia, have again joined to run the leading Geoscience Conference in Australasia. The conference is to be held in Perth at the recently upgraded Crown Perth function centre. The venue is located minutes from the city centre with free parking, good public transport options, and is within walking distance of the new Optus Stadium. EXHIBITION Exhibition Opportunities The AEGC 2018 Organising Committee will be hosting an exhibition to coincide with the Conference. The exhibition is a major component of the Conference and will feature the most up to date information on projects and highlight products available. All refreshment breaks will be located within the exhibition area and this will be the primary networking arena for delegates, sponsors and exhibitors. The Exhibitor is deemed liable for repairs if the structures are damaged. The Organisers reserve the right to request removal of any items that may be deemed unacceptable and impacts fellow Exhibitors. All promotion must be conducted from your booth. All Organisations are expected to conduct their business in a professional, ethical manner and any breach will result in immediate cancellation of the Sponsorship/Exhibition package. If an Organisation is found to not align their values with that of the AEGC 2019 Host Organisations, this may result in cancellation of your Sponsorship/ Exhibition package. CANCELLATION POLICY The submission of an application by a representative from your organisation is regarded as a firm booking. All cancellations must be made in writing to the Organisers and notice acknowledged in writing by the Organisers. Any reduction in a Sponsorship and/or Exhibition allocation (once accepted by the Organisers) will be considered a cancellation and the cancellation policy will apply. Should the balance payment be outstanding at time of cancellation, the Sponsor/Exhibitor is liable for the balance as per the cancellation policy. There is no opportunity to transfer your Sponsorship/Exhibition booking to another AEGC event.
