WELCOME! St George's summer camp in Montreux offers an exclusive summer camp for young people from all around the world to meet each other in an inspiring setting. Friendships are developed which last long after the camps are finished. Our camps are set up to offer challenging activities which are enjoyable and worthwhile with the aim to develop the body and mind. Campers immerse themselves in the spirit and ethos of St George's which is all about respect, challenge, care and learning. My girls had such a good time, they have made lots of friends and can t wait to come back next year -parents of Chloe and Jake We offer several different languages for our campers to study and over fifty different activities, so our campers never get bored. Our excursions and expeditions allow campers to discover different regions around Switzerland and experience true Swiss culture. Our football camps allow our sporty campers to get the best instruction from FC Barcelona coaches. Our Nano camp is for our younger campers and has a broad range of activities from painting, musical activities and visiting local attractions. We have a superb team of International staff who are all highly qualified and experienced educators. Many have been working with our camps for over five years. LIVING LANGUAGES Bonjour Guten tag Hello Hola Over thirty hours of intense but enjoyable instruction in each two-week session. Campers concentrate on conversations, both speaking and listening. Highly trained and experienced teachers facilitate learning ensuring all campers make progress. Language excursions - Each week campers go on an excursion to museums in the area to apply their learning in the real world. LANGUAGE EXCURSIONS Our language excursions allow campers to visit some main attractions around Switzerland. Our educational program allows campers to apply what they have learned during lessons to interact with their environment. LAKE CAMP Lake Camp is for those who are eager to explore the world around them and try new things. Lake Campers experience Lake Geneva in many ways, from sailing, water skiing, tubing and other water sports. Lake Campers learn how to be contributing members of a team, how to lead and to follow and to take calculated risks. MOUNTAIN CAMP Mountain camp is for those who enjoy all mountain activities, from climbing to biking to hiking to abseiling. Campers are given opportunities to experience and develop their skills in numerous activities in incredible locations around the foothills of the Alps. ACTIVITIES DANCE & DRAMA Learn practice and perform during our different activities. Our staff have a wide range of styles and interests which they will share with you and inspire your creative spirit. SPORTS Play and improve in a wide range of sports on campus. We have outstanding facilities on campus and highly qualified staff who can take you to the nest level. Tennis, Football, Table Tennis, Badminton, Dodge ball, Swimming, Gymnastics, Rugby, Netball, Basketball etc. are just some of the sports we over during the camp. ARTS & CRAFTS For our Creative students! Each Camper has the opportunity to explore a wide range of technical skills whilst encouraging freedom of imagination. Our use of media includes sketching, painting, sculpture and ceramics. EVENING ACTIVITIES Fun ways to make friends and bring a busy day to an end. The evening events at St. George s Summer Camp are a highlight promoting friendly competition between camper and also the staff. SWISS EXPERIENCE One week of exciting cultural activities to discover Switzerland. Meeting new friends from different nationalities and creating long-lasting friendships! Film Project During the week you will be taking videos and editing to create a film of your memorable week experiencing the best of Switzerland. Swiss Capital Bern. Visit this beautiful city with all the culture and tradition. Float down the river Aare on a classic float trip. Gstaad country life Visit the glamourous and chic town on Gstaad for an unforgettable experience in Swiss country side. Night in an Alpage Connect with nature. Milk cows, make cheese and stay in a true Alpage. Fantasticable Swing across a ravine suspended from a cable. So much fun. Boat trip to France Cruise across the lake and sample some fine cuisine in another country. Go Karting Race the other campers to the finish line. Lots of fun. Swiss National day Incredible fireworks all around the Lake while eating the Swiss classic Fondue. FOOTBALL CLUB BARCELONA At St. George s, we are very pleased to be partnering with SySport and Football Club Barcelona to run a world class football camp. For a whole week campers have the opportunity to train and play with the best coaches and players. It will be an incredible experience which will inspire and develop skills while having a lot of fun. There is a chance for participants to be chosen to take part in a tournament where FCB camps from all over the world will meet and play, to share their passion for football with young players. The tournament is a way to live a unique, unforgettable experience and to share the passion for football with FCB Escola friends from all over the world. We believe that testing yourself at an international level can be an inspiration to grow and improve. If your son/daughter is an avid football fan then they will love this camp. The FC Barcelona Football Camp is organized and run by SySport, official licensing FC Barcelona.
NANO CAMP We have created a varied, interesting, interactive camp for our young campers between 3-7 years old. Run by our experienced and talented educator in our Early Learning School. Highlights: Multi activity Songs, group games; snack; costume design; music workshops; manufacture of kites; paper flowers; masks etc. Local visits Maladaire beach, Jardín d'anglais, Local farm, Cruise on the lake. Sharing with parents Each week we welcome parents to come and see what has been created during the day. Weekly themes Activities are based on a weekly theme. For example, animals, space, seasons and, etc. Sports Each day there will be sports organised on our campus. LIFE ON CAMPUS Food Our chefs create tasty, healthy food with options for vegetarians/vegans etc. The menu is international so campers get to taste food from around the world allowing them to understand each other s cultures better. Residential For our boarding campers there is a pastoral team on hand to look after them. Directed by our head of boarding we ensure all campers are included, happy and healthy. Rooms All rooms are comfortable and sleep between 1 and 4 people. There is a sink, desk and cupboard for each camper. Toilets and showers are shared. Laundry Clothes are washed and pressed by our on campus team once a week. Lounge During free time campers can play games together, play music or sport. Nurse The health and welfare of our campers is of primary importance and our on site nurse is there to deal with any issues that may arise and look after our campers. Chalet Our beautiful chalet is home to our Nano campers aged 3-7. A MOMENT OF ADVENTURE
CONDITIONS OF ACCEPTANCE Fitness Your child/ren must be of a good Physical and Mental Health before coming on our camp. All Medical Information must be supplied in advance so we can take the best care of your child/ren. Dates The dates of our camp can be found on our website www.st-georgescamp.ch Fees The fees can be found on our website and represent an all inclusive cost which covers medical and accident insurance, activities, lessons, accommodation for boarders, food. It does not cover the transfers from the airport which can be supplied by the school at an additional cost. REGISTRATION: Registration and confirmation of a place will become effective only upon the payment of the camp fees and the 500.- CHF registration fee within 5 working days. The covers the administrative admissions expenses, and it is non-refundable and non-transferrable. CANCELLATION: 1) If cancellation occurs more than 30 days prior to the arrival: refund of 50% of the camp fees and full refund of the pocket money; 2) If cancellation occurs after this period: refund of 25% of the camp fees and full refund of the pocket money. INSURANCE: We highly recommend parents to purchase cancellation insurance in the student's country of residence, in order to ensure full reimbursement for cancellation before the start of the camp, or in case of early departure from the camp due to accident, illness, death of a family members etc. No refund is possible if for any reason cancellation occurs after the start of the summer camp. EXPULSION: In case of expulsion from the Summer Camp which is due to the breach of the School rules and regulations, the School will retain the full amount of the camp fees, no reimbursement can be arranged in this case. LANGUAGE COURSE: German for beginners will only take place with a minimum of 5 students registered.

CODE OF CONDUCT CONDUCT: All students will conduct themselves in a manner which is correct and acceptable by all, regardless of age, gender, language, nationality and religion. The Summer Camp Director reserves the right to send home anyone whose behaviour goes against the school ethos. Any additional cost (plane tickets, damage to the school property, taxi runs, food for example) will be at the parents expense. Parents are expected to pick up their child within 48 hours of having been notified. ALLERGIES: The Director reserves the right to refuse a student whose medical and allergy condition may represent a risk. SMOKING/ALCOHOL: The possession or consumption of cigarettes, alcohol and/or drugs is strictly forbidden on and off campus. Any breach of these rules will be seriously dealt with and may result in the student being sent home at their parents expense. RESPONSIBILITY: The students will be provided with a safe in their bedroom or in the camp office. The students are responsible for their belongings and parents discharge the school of any damage, loss or theft. PUBLICITY: Please be aware that your child s picture could be used on the school website, films or other items of school publicity. A MOMENT OF DISCOVERY
