CAMPERSHIPS Don t let financial hardship keep your son from attending camp. The Council has scholarship funds available to assist needy Scouts in attending camp. The responsibility to make camp available to every Scout is shared between the parents, the Pack Leadership and the Council. It is the policy of the Council that a full Campership will not be granted to any individual Scout. Parents and Pack Leaders should discuss the level of assistance needed and obtain a Campership assistance form from the Council Service Center, and submit it to the Council no later than June 1, 2008. The GSMC Camping Committee will award Camperships based on the amount of dollars available and demonstrated need of the individual Scout.
