One of London s most popular destinations is Her Majesty s Royal Palace and Fortress, the Tower of London, which has served as an armory, a treasury, a menagerie, and a prison. In 1988, the Tower of London was added to the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites in recognition of its global importance and to help conserve and protect the site. Next, the Great Bell of the clock at the Palace of Westminster, nicknamed Big Ben, will be viewed from the Lambeth Bridge. Afterwards, the group will head to the British Museum.
