Here you will be welcomed by your guide or pick up your rented vehicle here. Drive to town and overnight in a room with en-suite facilities at the Windhoek Country Club Resort. (Bed and Breakfast).
Day 2 : After breakfast, drive through the mountainous Khomas Hochland and down the steep Spreetshoogte pass to the Namib Desert and to Sesriem and the Sossusvlei Lodge, situated outside the Namib-Naukluft National Park. Overnight here in a chalet with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast). Day 3 : Visit the Namib desert's highest dunes at Sossusvlei (this guided excursion is included) and the interesting Sesriem Canyon. Accommodation as on the previous day. Day 4 : Drive via the Gaub and Kuiseb passes through the Namib-Naukluft Park to the Welwitschia plains and the Moon Landscape. Continue to the charming coastal town of Swakopmund. Overnight in an elegant room with en-suite facilities at Strand Hotel Swakopmund. (Bed and Breakfast). Day 5 : Enjoy a boat cruise in the morning on the lagoon of Walvis Bay (included) where you will see interesting ocean-dwellers and spend the rest of the day in Swakopmund. Day 6 : Drive along the Skeleton Coast and via Henties Bay inland through the Namib Desert via Uis and past the Brandberg through breathtaking landscapes of the Damaraland to the age-old rock engravings at Twyfelfontein. Overnight in a chalet with en-suite facilities at Doro Nawas Camp. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast). Day 7 : After breakfast visit the Petrified Forest and drive through impressive landscapes to Palmwag in the Damaraland. Here you will be welcomed in the early afternoon by your hosts, who will provide you with a transfer to the Etendeka Mountain Camp. Overnight here in a tent with en-suite facilities. Day 8 : Spend the day with your hosts at Etendeka, situated in the characteristic Commiphora damarana flora of the Damaraland-Kaokoland frontier. Interesting and informative walks and game-viewing drives are offered. Accommodation as on the previous day. Day 9 : Transfer to your vehicle. Drive via the Grootberg Pass, Kamanjab and Fransfontein to the Ugab Terrace Lodge, which is situated close to the impressive Rock Finger in the Uchab valley. Overnight here in a chalet with en-suite facilities. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast). Day 10 : After breakfast, drive via Outjo to the famous Etosha National Park and to the Stateowned Okaukuejo Resort, situated inside the park. Overnight here in a chalet with en-suite facilities. (Bed and Breakfast). Enjoy a game-viewing drive in Etosha. Day 11 : Game-viewing drives in your own rented vehicle on the marked roads in the central and eastern part of Etosha or with your guide. Visit the historical Fort Namutoni. Overnight in a stylish room with en-suite facilities at the Mokuti Etosha Lodge, situated outside the park. (Dinner, Bed and Breakfast). Day 14 : In the course of the morning, drive via Otavi to Otjiwarongo, where you can visit a crocodile ranch. Concerning the rented vehicle: Excess Covers concerning the rented vehicles in Namibia Highest Super Excess Cover: Super Excess Cover (SEC2): Waives the renter's and/or additional driver's responsibility for the major cost of repairs in the event of an accident and covers the damage due to water and undercarriage damage in full. "SEC2" includes the insurance for damage to the windscreen and/or the tyres, rims and hubcaps. This insurance does not cover any accidents nor damage that occur on a road that is not suitable or intended for the type of rented vehicle and when no other vehicle, animal or person is involved in the accident and the renter is found guilty of negligence! In case of an accident or damage to the vehicle, the client has to pay the maximum of 20% of the damage as administration claim fee. Theft Loss Waiver: Waives the renter's responsibility for the full value of loss to the rental vehicle, vehicle parts or equivalent. TLW does not cover the loss or theft of personal effects or luggage! At the start of the renting period, the client has to pay an excess deposit of N$ 3 000 plus the stamp duty fee of N$ 20. This is done easiest by credit card. After the rented vehicle has been returned with a full tank, the deposit will be refunded to the client in full.
