controls & accessories Toilet Lift Control Control buttons (up/down) can be mounted on the left or right side arm supports. Separate Hand Control This control is necessary if the Aerolet is used without arm support(s) if the user has limited hand and/or finger function available. The hand control can also be used in combination with the standard control buttons. Alternative Toilet Seats There are a number of alternative toilet seats available for certain models of Aerolet, ranging from ergonomic, soft and open-fronted. Please ask for further details. Model 24v For use in bathrooms where a power point is not available or cannot be installed. The 24v toilet lift is supplied with two batteries and one charger (230v). Re-charging is undertaken at a convenient power point outside the bathroom. Showerlift Control The watertight control buttons can be mounted on the left and right arm supports. Movable arm supports (Cow-horn arms) An optional accessory that can provide extra support during the elevation process. Pensioner Ulem Grant lost a leg through diabetes in 2010 and can no longer use his fingers. He had his Clos-o-Mat installed under a Disabled Facilities Grant on the advice of his Occupational Therapist, as he was dependant on his wife helping him on and off his conventional WC and was getting frustrated at his inability to flush the toilet on his own. It is fantastic, I am over the moon. It was so difficult to go the toilet, but not any more! I can go whenever I want, without my wife having to help me, he enthused. Added his wife Dawn, I use it too! We were using so much toilet paper trying to get my husband clean, and he hated me having to help him all the time. The best bathroom in the world is not in some grand mansion, but is the smallest room in the house in a traditional suburban home in the heart of Flintshire It belongs to retired watchmaker James Randall, who suffers from Inclusion-Body Myositis, a rare and incurable muscle-wasting disease.
