Celebrating the best of the British Bangladeshi community By Rashed Belal The Bangla Mirror Group, publishers of the British Bangladeshi Who s Who publication, held a press conference on Tuesday 21 st October 2014 at London Muslim Centre, to announce the launch of the much anticipated 2014 publication and to introduce Sylhet Mirror, the first online English news daily from Sylhet, Bangladesh. The official launch of the British Bangladeshi Who s Who 2014 publication and award is being held in the prestigious Alexandra Palace Panorama Room on Thursday 13 th November 2014. Many high profile dignitaries, celebrities and guests are expected to attend.
The first British Bangladeshi Who s Who was published in 2008. Following on from the success and subsequent annual launch gala dinners, attended by prominent figures in politics, government, business and the media, the 2014 British Bangladeshi Who s Who gala event and publication promises to be the best to date. This year s event sees the return to London s famous Alexandra Palace, where the 2012 and 2013 event was well received by the Community. There will be exciting new faces, which the publishers have unearthed in this year s publication and several hotly, anticipated awards. Shahadoth Karim, the Editor of the publication, said the publication and awards ceremony has now become in many people s eyes an important date in the calendar for British Bangladeshis The British Bangladeshi Who s Who is a publication that celebrates the best of the British Bangladeshi community. This is the Seventh year of the publication,
which is the definitive guide to the most successful, influential and highest achieving people from the Bangladeshi community in Britain. Its originality and high quality have ensured its longevity.
