Meeting site The IGHC meeting will be held at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel On-line registration To be able to register, members are first required to have renewed their 2011 IGHC membership online. If your company has not received the username and password to renew its membership online, please contact ighc@iata.org. Upon completion of your company s membership renewal and receipt of payment, an email from iata@worldtek.com containing the discount codes to use to register to the event will be sent to the email address indicated in your membership registration. You will be able to book your hotel accommodation at the same time, and register to the ISAGO / IGOM workshop and the SGHA & SLA workshop. Agenda information Agenda distribution The agenda for this meeting will not be mailed out. The agenda will be posted to the private pages on the IGHC private website http://www.iata.org/workgroups/ighc.htm on 18 March 2011. Members who do not already have access to the IGHC private website should register at www.iata.org/workgroups/ighc - click on Registration (external users only). Agenda items The voting on the agenda items to be published in the 32 nd edition of the Airport Handling Manual will be carried out onsite on Monday 2 May. Each member will have to assign a head delegate, who will be responsible for voting on these items. We remind you that: - Each member has one vote Quorum for the annual meeting shall consist of twenty five (25) accredited representatives, or alternates, of IATA Members which are Members of the IGHC plus twenty five (25) accredited representatives, or alternates, of Members of the IGHC which are not Members of IATA. All recommendations of the IGHC referring to the IATA Airport Handling Manual shall be taken by a two-thirds (2/3) majority vote of the IATA Members present and voting. Abstentions do not count in the vote. Any approved amendments to the Airport Handling Manual will be forwarded to the ASC for further consideration. IATA Strategic Partners do not have voting rights DELEGATE LIST The delegate list is updated once a week, and is posted on the IGHC extranet site, under IGHC 24 - Kuala Lumpur. Election of officers Anyone wishing to be considered for election as an IGHC officer is required to complete the information form shown at Attachment B and return to ighc@iata.org by 16 March for inclusion in the agenda. Candidates will be given a short time to introduce themselves to the assembled members at the IGHC annual meeting on Monday 2 May, prior to the formal vote. In order to maintain an equal geographical distribution, elections for Officers should consider representation from each Traffic Conference Area (TC1, TC2 and TC3). Voting will be open to all members present and voting and be decided by simple majority. Head delegate We will contact your company in April to identify the head delegate within your organization. The head delegate will be the only delegate entitled to vote for the Airport Handling Manual agenda items and IGHC Officer s election.
