ANZAC DAY 2018 (Alstonville) Our point of departure this year was on the left side of the road in front of the RSL club which was much easier for passengers waiting on the footpath to gain access to our vehicles. Five members of our club took part in the procession. Once we arrived on site we are under the instruction of the organisers and apparently there was a considerable time laps between our part of the procession and those taking part in the march. Upon arrival at the park where the service is held, the background music from the 1940 s must have brought back memories to the veterans who lived through those years. Once again the procession and service was well attended by the young and old and pupils from the various schools throughout the district taking part with speeches they had prepared throughout the service. At the conclusion of the service we were thanked for supplying our cars for the 2018 Anzac Day march. MEMBERS TAKING PART R&N Hambly 1936 Plymouth, G Hobbs 1954 FJ Holden, B Johnon 1929 Chev., G Campbell 1929 Dodge, N Gill 1926 Buick
