However, many of them are like the dog who finally catches the bus. Now that I have it, what do I do with it? What to do with it is what this workshop is all about; getting the maximum effectiveness from your program. Some of the key topics discussed will be: Program focus Investigating for cause Safety flow Dealing with senior managers Getting past the lip service The importance of documentation Measuring the bosses commitment Measuring your program's success QA vs. SMS Q and A session This is not a basic safety management systems course. We will spend very little time dealing with program structure and components. Attendees should have solid knowledge of SMS principles to get the maximum benefit from the course. Experience managing an SMS will also be beneficial.
