Entertainment books $60 each incl. $12 profit - did not go ahead last year as there was not much interest, however Anthony pointed out that the App is much more popular so we will find out about getting a cut of the proceeds by promoting the App. OUR CLUB IS LOW ON FUNDS SO WE NEED IDEAS ON FUNDRAISING PLEASE, FROM ANYONE? Youth: Anthony : Luca is now at Eric s residence for the next couple of months. Bren : International : Bren has forwarded this on after the meeting: Here is the latest bulletin so please pass it on to all Rotary clubs and supporters. This issue focuses on a WA Rotary club s hospital project in Cambodia where we recently sent a 1x40 ft full container of Queensland hospital beds. Great initiative. Big commitment. Another item which we highlight is the need for new premises, as before we know it the end of June will arrive and nowhere to go. I estimate we have 10-12 x 40 containers worth of recyclable goods with 5 planned load up days so we will be cutting it fine. Since over 85% of what we recycle comes from State government organisations, I have contacted the Premier s Inala electoral office for an appointment with her to see if we can obtain a redundant state building or funding to purchase one. We do have prospects but more help would be appreciated. If any Rotarian has any political connections any leads or hints would be good. Bren is now looking for any soccer uniforms or soccer gear, boots etc for kids that he can send to Dilli. Gold Coast Ramble Andy: Rotary Foundation: Joint Black Tie Dinner on 9 June with RC Gold Coast called Mascarade Ball. Each club commited to selling 150 tickets. It will be at the Convention Centre. We are also required to donate around 25 Silent Auction items of a minimum $100 each.. Black Tie Team
