The city of Banjaluka Banja Luka is the political, administrative, commercial and cultural capital of Republika Srpska, which is one of two constitutional and legal entities of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the other being the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The entities are largely autonomous. Banjaluka is the second largest city in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the largest city in the Republika Srpska with a population of approximately 200,000. Bosnia and Herzegovina is one of the most frequently visited countries in the region, projected to have the third highest tourism growth rate in the world between 1995 and 2020.
