Display Explanation Header Promotions New Bookings Retrieve Booking Cruise Line Info Description This page lists current promotions by cruise line and geographic promotion. If an option is selected, detail and selection screens appear to book through Step 5, and begin with cabin availability. This is similar to a quick book option. Action button to begin the new booking process. Any unsaved work is deleted. Action button to begin retrieval of an existing booking. Unique to each cruise line providing most aspects of the cruise with details for everything from cruise evening attire to ship facilities. 03/02 7
Go! Header Port Guide Quick Help Description This link provides port arrival information, Best of List, local interest and activities and event information. Offers helpful tips on how to use the current screen. Before we begin booking, let s look at some Help pages, Preferences, and Message screens. 6. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click Help. Notice the Help page that displays is for Quick Search. Help 8 03/02
Go! pages are available for each area and you can access any other Help page from the links on the left. 7. Close the Help browser and select Preferences. (Review the preferences briefly). Preference lists are settings to customize the way you would like to work for you. There are settings defaulted to US, and others that should be specifically customized. 8. Go! This allows you to retrieve messages from the cruise lines by priority, if neede,d pertaining to your passenger s cruise. As you see, there are two possible ways of using our search, Advanced and Quick Search. Our lesson will use Quick Search, but before we start that, let s take a quick look at Advanced Search. 12. Go! Step 1 Quick Search Note the number of sailings. This area provides instructions for a Quick Search. It shows how many sailings are available after each selection. When 50 or fewer sailings match the selections, the message is replaced with the list of sailings. To further narrow the search, we ll include a few more options. In a Quick Search, you must select a choice from each column, until the sailings are reduced to 50 or less. You can select from all columns to narrow the options even further. 16 03/02

Go! Step 3 Fare Availability This screen shows Fare Code Availability. The Status shows either available, waitlist, or closed. You can check the box by a specific Fare Code to select up to four fare codes for comparison. Click on the Fare Code link for a specific description. Next are Description and Remarks about the fare code, and Go To proceeds to Step 4, Category Availability. Click the Category button for the specific fare code to proceed. If the category offers an upgraded cabin category for the price of a lower category, the upgraded category is shown here. Indicates whether category supports guaranteed cabins. Category information appears with a cabin photograph, room description and amenities. We ve looked at a Large Stateroom, but let s look at another type of room. Be aware that this could change your category and affect your booking if you change. Main Contact indicates this person is the main contact for this booking.
