Majestic Alaska POST-CRUISE VACATION STRETCHER

Denali National Park Dall Sheep in Denali Denali National Park should be at the top of every adventurer s bucket list. This astounding destination extends over six million acres of preserved wilderness and is home to majestic Mount McKinley (now officially known as Mt. Denali or the Great One in the Denaina Athabascan language), the highest peak in North America. The pristine wilderness of Alaska is, perhaps, the last bastion of thriving populations of North American wildlife. With breathtaking scenery, unique wildlife sightings and an opportunity to immerse yourself in the pure, untamed wilderness of Alaska, we invite you to extend your vacation and join the women of Olivia on a journey to Denali National Park. Anchorage, Alaska s most populous city (40 percent of the state s population live within the city limits), combines the conveniences of the modern world with a rugged natural environment. An urban enclave surrounded by wilderness, you can watch a moose in the morning and a theater show at night. Just a few miles from downtown, you can see Dall sheep, rushing mountain streams, city parks so vast you ll feel like you ve left the city altogether, go hiking to a glacier, and visit grizzly bears. Your adventure starts as you leave Anchorage and the coastal Chugach mountain range and head into the great frontier of Alaska s interior and the magnificent Alaska mountain range. Your excitement will build as you travel along the Talkeetna Mountains and through some of the most scenic and rugged territory in Alaska as you make your way up to Denali. Your breath will be taken away with the natural beauty of America s northernmost and westernmost state.
