China Aviation Training Forum 2016 October. 18 th -19 th, 2016 Beijing China OVERVIEW With the theme of School Enterprise Cooperation--- Next Generation Education and Training of Aviation Professionals, China Aviation Training Forum 2016(hereinafter referred as CATF 2016 ) attracted 110+experts from governments, organizations and associations, airlines, universities, etc. sharing their civil aviation training experience and suggestions. In recent years, China civil aviation training industry has come up with unprecedented challenges and opportunities as one of the results of the country s 13th Five-Year Plan and the One Belt One Road strategy. As the first year of 13th Five-Year Plan, China civil aviation training industry should seize this opportunity in 2016. Based on this beneficial policy background, the industry needs to address the shortage of both technical staff and pilot in domestic market, to enhance the diversity of industry talent input channel, and to relieve the pressure resulted from the lack of relevant expertise. Recently, Chinese government has published the Guiding Opinions of Promoting the Development of Civil Aviation Industry which emphasizes that the science education and talent supporting should be paid more attention. The training of talents in the aircraft, MRO, air control fields should be strengthened.
