2017 KENSTON SERVICE UNIT CAMPOUT JUNE 2nd - 4th Clay s Park in North Lawrence Ohio Your registration, non-refundable camp payment, dinner choice, payment information sheet, and trip application (available at gsneo.org under forms) must be completed by April 23rd. Do not use Paula Bushnell or Anne Reily as emergency contacts. Use a parent that is not camping with you. All adults attending camp must be a registered Girl Scout, background checked and approved. If someone cancels and you want another parent to come, they must also be a registered Girl Scout, background checked and approved. You MUST let us know and we will alert GSNEO so they can add them to your roster or they cannot attend. You must have someone who is camp trained and first aid/cpr trained. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR VOLUNTEER IS AWARE THEY ARE VOLUNTEERING AT CAMP TO HELP WITH A BADGE WORKSHOP. An older Scout (Seniors and Above) is an acceptable volunteer.
Dinner will be provided Friday night Only Troops are responsible for their beverages Please remember we are tent camping. You must provide your own camp gear and all of your own food and beverages for the weekend. The area we are camping in is reserved just for us. We have our own bathrooms with flushing toilets. Showers are located at several locations in the park. We have a pavilion in our area so you will have a covered area to eat and do activities. Please remember table clothes. Please remind your troop to pick up after themselves and keep the camp area clean. There are trash cans around the pavilion. Don t forget to bring your SWAPS to trade. Please don t bring your own firewood. It is prohibited at the campground. They will have firewood available for sale. Don t hesitate to call with any questions or concerns.
