Invitation from Conference Chairs Dear Friends and Colleagues, We are pleased to invite you to the 5 th ICON Conference to be held at Century City Convention Centre in Cape Town from 17 to 19 August 2018. The theme for this year s conference is Optimising Outcomes: Unlocking Value. We invite all specialist oncologists, chemotherapy staff, radiation therapists, medical physicists, radiobiologists, business managers, senior administrative staff and stakeholders from the funding environment to engage with the collective aim of improving cancer treatment in South Africa. The conference will be academically rewarding with exciting contributions from both local and international speakers. Our aim is to highlight real-world oncology as it is practised within the clinic, with information pertinent to the South African context. Please return your Intention Form to us as soon as possible.
