Successful Meetings BizBash Highlights Mission Point In their recent article, 14 Creative Teambuilding Activities With a Local Focus, BizBash highlights Mission Point as a destination for ideal meetings with a focus on our unique local culture. At Mission Point Hotel on Michigan s Mackinac Island, attendees can work together to experience one of the region s favorite pastimes creating cairns, or small stacks of rocks in a remote spot overlooking Lake Huron. Following the cairns creations, the group can create and sample custom cocktails made with items from the property s cocktail garden. Mitra Sorrells, BizBash We held our annual meeting at Mission Point in 2016. Previous leadership thought the logistics of the island would not be suitable for board members and attendees. Wow, it was one of our best meetings ever. Attendees loved it. We saw an increase in attendance. Our board was thrilled. We are already planning another meeting.
