About WFP Aviation For over 50 years, WFP has been at the forefront of fighting world hunger by delivering food and relief cargo to millions of people affected by natural disasters, civil unrest and conflict. Approximately 2,500 staff manage WFP s logistics portfolio through land, sea and air operations across the world, to deliver approximately 3.1 million metric tons of food every year. By means of its United Nations Humanitarian Air Service (UNHAS), WFP Aviation provides first line air transport service to enable the humanitarian community access remote locations in countries where commercial airlines are either unavailable or unreliable. About Clydewood Clydewood consist of enthusiastic and energetic team whom showed interest in the humanitarian work and dedicated their work to raise awareness around the world about the how each person can help at his/her capacity make the world a better place to be. Clydewood has been the official organizer of GHAC since the 5 th version of and have efficiently met and exceeded the supporter s expectations. The Conference at a Glance One of the objective on GHAC is to promote capacity building in civil aviation authorities, foster closer relations among air operators and enhance cooperation in the humanitarian aviation sector. It is against this backdrop that the annual GHAC is being organized to enable an informed forum among WFP aviation service providers and other stakeholders. Good working relationships with all involved are essential to successful aviation interventions, particularly to ensuring the highest level of safety in humanitarian air services. This year s conference aims to assemble leading aviation innovators, decision makers and executives, to discuss a broad spectrum of pressing aviation safety concerns affecting the humanitarian air operations in specific and the emerging trends of safety concerns at the aviation industry level in general. GHAC invites civil aviation authorities from around the globe, more than 50 major humanitarian aid organizations such as (UN, WFP, ICRC, MSF, Airserv, ASF among many others) as well as humanitarian and commercial air operators from all around the world. We are anticipating more than 250 decision makers, procurement officers and key personnel from those organizations to be in attendance. We are opening the opportunity to your organizations to come together with other Humanitarian Organizations to support the conference, and in return your organizations are presented with the following benefits as per the supporter packages listed.
