Fire Safety DIN EN 45545-3 Fires in rail vehicles are most often caused deliberately or by negligence, or are a result of defects in the electrical systems. Especially for this emergency case, a test sce nario was developed that would divide the products into diverse applications and fire safety classes, and thus varying lengths of exposure to a temperature of up to 1.000 C. Several of our products have undergone this test and fulfill the classification E 60 (which corresponds to 60 minutes at a temperature of up to 1.000 C) and with a certificate to prove it. Compression Our product solutions with compression offer the user a high degree of comfort in opening and closing and simultaneously make it possible to apply uniform contact pressure, thus ensuring impermeability. High-quality technology is thus protected against the penetration of dirt, dust or water. Because it is possible to mount the locks either overlying and visible or completely flush and concealed, the products offer a variety of application possibilities in interior and exterior areas as well as in infrastructure of railway transportation.
