Having an open balance for prior camps may have an effect on your child/children attending our summer camp. Our camp starts at Nelson Middle school and ends at the FRRPD Activity Center. Camp Catch a Dream Information Camp Cell Phone If you need to contact us at camp, call (530) 712-1393 Registration & Payments Registration packet is designed to accommodate up to 6 campers. If any camper has special needs or a special diet or allergies please indicate so in the proper area. Be sure to attach any custody agreements to the packet if you have special circumstance that does not permit a parent/guardian from picking up your camper. Inform family and friends listed on the pick-up list to be prepared to show photo ID each time they come to pick-up your camper. Return completed registration packet to the FRRPD front desk before the first day of your camper s attendance. Summer Camp Sessions are to be paid in FULL prior to your child s attendance. The front office will accept cash, check, and credit/debit cards. Valley Oaks and Cal Works accepted. For those that have partial fees or parent fees please pay prior to your child s attendance. Sign-In/Out Procedure Keep staff informed and up to date with who is permitted to pick up your camper. Ensure that the contacts listed have ACTIVE phone numbers. It is required that each camper is signed in and out everyday on their own line. If you have multiple campers attending, each camper s entry NEEDS to be signed out. Late Pick-up Camper must be picked up on time no later than 6:00pm, otherwise a charge of $20 will be incurred if camper is picked up after 6:05pm. If late pick up becomes consistent camper may be dismissed from program. Camp Attire Campers will be outdoors for the majority of the day, playing games, and involved in various activities. It is important for camper(s) to have appropriate clothing and shoes. Please send camper BELED items: Backpack or Bag to put their belongings in Athletic or closed toe shoes Water Bottle Extra pair of clothes Bagged Lunch (s) with the following LA-

Meals AM snack will be provided by the BCOE s CalKidz Summer Food Program. All children are welcome during posted serving times. No pre-registration or documentation required. Although, all meals must be eaten on site. No food is allowed to leave the dining area. FRRPD will provide campers with an afternoon snack, and plenty of water. Please provide your camper with a labeled bagged lunch with an ice pack to keep it cold along with a water bottle. Water will be available to refill water bottles. We request items that require refrigeration or microwaving to remain at home. Lost & Found Be sure to check camper s belongings daily. Clothes, lunch boxes, water bottles, toys, etc. that do not belong to FRRPD will be placed in Lost & Found box. If items are not claimed by the end of the Camp Session, all Lost & Found items will be donated. It is important to LABEL all campers belongings to avoid being lost or misplaced. Fieldtrips Permission Slips for our fieldtrips will be issued prior to the date. Camper MUST turn in the fieldtrip form in order to leave Nelson School. If a permission slip is not received for a camper they will remain at Nelson School with the other camper(s) that are not participating along with a recreation leader. Transportation will be conducted by authorized FRRPD staff and vehicles. Participation in fieldtrips are voluntary. Electronic Toys/Cell Phones Camper(s) will be allowed electronic time at the scheduled times (after lunch, and the last hour of camp). Camper(s) are not allowed to surf the internet, only play the appropriate games and/or listen to music that are on the unit. Camper(s) can bring their headphones for their electronics. If camper was to misuse their electronic time the following disciplinary actions will occur. Loss of electronic time for 5 days Complete loss of electronic privilege FRRPD is not responsible for any lost or stolen electronics.

A behavior contract was signed in the Camp Catch a Dream return packet. Our camp staff will abide by the discipline measures as stated. Parents/Guardians will be notified of such discipline by receiving a Behavior Concern note from our staff. Rules: Campers are expected to follow the instructions of FRRPD Staff Rec Leaders at all times. Campers are expected to participate in planned activities. If camper chooses not to participate in an activity or game, they still to stay and move with their group. No physical contact between staff members and camper. Items of possession will be handled by owners only unless permission is given by the owner. Stealing or borrowing of items without permission is not allowed. Food/beverages will not be shared, with the exception of camper s siblings. Sunblock may only be shared with siblings. Every camper should bring own sunblock. No name calling or teasing. Only positive dialogue allowed. If camper is not feeling well, we recommend not bringing your camper to camp, this prevents others from becoming ill. Campers whom are vomiting or have a fever will be sent home. Campers must be dressed appropriately in order to attend camp. Skirts require shorts underneath. No see-through shirts, short shorts, or clothing with inappropriate logos or writing.
