Closed-toe shoes such as sneakers, Crocs, or Keen sandals (no flip flops, please!) *Previously, GSSNE day camps have provided cartons of milk. Beginning in summer 2017, milk will no longer be provided to campers. To pack in your backpack each day: Sweater or sweatshirt Bathing suit & towel (needed each day) Rain gear (rain jacket or poncho) Sunscreen Non-aerosol insect repellent (less than 20% DEET) Bandana and/or hat Extra pair of underwear Optional: Small amount of cash (approximately $5 $20) to purchase items in the camp store, aka Trading Post Prescribed medications (if applicable) must be kept in the original container bearing pharmacy label, prescription number, date filled, physician's name, directions for use, and patient's name. Additional Equipment for weekly Thursday cookouts (please bring on Thursday only): Dunk bag (drawstring mesh bag) Mess kit or non-breakable & boilable cup, plate, & bowl Cutlery (knife, fork, spoon) The following items are prohibited at GSSNE camps: ipods, cell phones, electronic games, weapons, pets, illegal drugs, and alcoholic beverages. Electronics brought to camp will be collected and stored in the camp office until the end of the day. Campers bringing illegal drugs and/or alcohol to camp will be immediately dismissed.

Please pack in large, easy-to-carry backpacks or duffel bags that are less than 14 inches in height when packed this will allow the bag to slide under the cot!
