WELCOME HOME! The Lair of the Golden Bear Women's Wellness Weekend 2015 Important Notes The Pool is open 24-Hours a day and there is NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. The baby pool is heated and marvelous! Women s Wellness t-shirts available for purchase in the Blue Store. Great for Tie Dying! Free private swim lessons will be offered Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Sign up in Lodge. Hiking and kayaking require sign ups on clipboards in the Blue Lodge against the back wall. We are limited on space by the Forest Service for safety/environmental reasons. Meet and Greet tables will be set for all meals. Join us to meet new friends -- look for the signs. Quiet Hours are from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Tents B00 B12 are in a 24 hour quiet area. Please respect these times and your fellow campers. Massage is offered Thursday Sunday. If you would like to purchase a massage, please sign up in the Camp Blue store. Rates are $43/half hour massage; $85/hour massage; and $128/90 minutes. Tips are not included. Massages are offered at the Wellness Center, less than a 10 minute walk from Camp Blue. Reflexology (foot scrubs and treatments) will be offered Thursday and Friday at the Blue Pool. Rates are $25/half hour (tips are not included). Sign-up at the Camp Blue store. Tea and hot chocolate will be offered at the Blue Lodge each night at 9:00pm. Bring a yoga mat or towel to Yoga/Pilates Class. We have a limited number of mats to distribute. A certified EMT is on-call 24 hours a day. Emergency call boxes are located on the Dining Hall and at the Blue Store. Please find a staff member if you need any assistance. Join Photographer Becky Jaffe for an hour long class that introduces students to the nature of light. We will explore what it means to see deeply and attentively, and notice qualities of light such as its intensity, direction, tone, mood and constantly changing character. At the Stage.

Please coordinate your own carpools. Maps provided in Blue Lodge, or meet with your car in front of Blue office at 6:45 to carpool and caravan over. Wine and snacks provided! Dress warmly. LET S DANCE at Camp Gold: Power soul and rock band Chains Required, will be playing LIVE at the Camp Gold Lodge, a 10 minute walk from Camp Blue (or drive over). Come dance and move to some great live music tonight.

AFTERNOON 2:00 Pool closes and Checkout. Please sweep out tents and put trash and recyclables in appropriate areas. See you next year! Qi Gong: This class will begin with energizing each area of the body gently. Western research has confirmed what the Chinese have long known: the slow graceful, low- impact movements reduce the effects of stress and aging, enhance immunity, lower blood pressure, increase circulation and build energy. Join this class to increase flexibility, stamina, and balance and build muscle and bone strength. Morning classes will include energizing shoulder and upper body exercises releasing negativity and restoring positive well-being. There are flowing movements that bring awareness about personal boundaries. Wear comfortable clothes-all abilities welcome! Yoga for All: Yoga for all levels linking the breath with seated and standing poses. Learn basic poses, relaxation techniques, and become comfortable with yoga. Multi-Level Yoga: Yoga for all levels and abilities make it as hard or as light as you d like. Pilates: You will learn and do all the basic Pilates techniques to tighten and tone your entire body. Gentle Yoga: Get energized with active and relaxing basic yoga poses. Great for all levels! Mindful Meditation: Come relax & learn meditation skills. Meditation is essential to wellness when you heal the mind, you heal the body. Meditation located at Creekside. Photography Workshops: Students of all levels of prior experience are invited to bring a camera and an appetite for creative experimentation to the workshop. Since the emphasis is on perception, all levels of camera are welcome, from mobile phones to point-and-shoots to DSLRs. Water Exercise This class is performed to music, using noodles and occasional use of floatation belts and devices (provided), and can accommodate non swimmers and those with impact injuries. Gentle Zumba Zumba is a Latin-inspired dance fitness class that provides a dynamic, fun, and effective workout. It s a fitness dance party! Wear comfortable clothes and allow at least 15 minutes to walk to the Vista Lodge. Kayaking: Come kayak on beautiful Pinecrest Lake, a short five minute drive from camp (we ll need drivers to carpool over). All abilities welcomed. You will get a little wet, so dress accordingly -- a hat and sunscreen are recommended. Please sign-up in the lodge as space is limited per session. Choose one day, Thursday, Friday, or Saturday so there is room for all. Kayaks can be rented on your own at the lake if you want to go more than once. Stand Up Paddleboarding: We are again teaming with professional SUP instructors for lessons and a tour at Beardsley Lake, approximately 30 minutes from camp. A light breakfast will be provided at the lake. Learn the basics in a safe and fun environment. Cost is $45 for a two hour lesson/tour with all equipment provided for each person. Sign up in the Blue Store. You can find out more about our SUP adventure at www.heidisskishop.com We have a full camp this weekend, so please do not move into a tent other than the one you were assigned (some empty tents are held for women arriving later). If you wish to change tents, please check in with our staff at the Blue office to confirm its availability. Thank you!
