Monday, July 25th Sunday, July 31st Sleepaway Camp in the Poconos A full range of activities from crafts to kayaking, sports, music, drama, ceramics, evening campfires, hiking, jet skiing, swimming, and the great adventure of living in a comfy cabin and making great friends forever. Our Camp Director and wonderful, caring staff, will accompany the campers. All camp fees, escorts, round-trip airfare and motor coach transportation from the airport to the New Jersey Y Camp are included in the camp fee.

BRING A BUDDY!! Our exciting referral program provides you with the opportunity to make extra money! For every child that you refer to our camp you will receive $150. There are just 4 easy steps: 1. The child you refer MUST BE A NEW CAMPER whose immediate family is experiencing the JCC for the first time, for a minimum of 4 weeks. 2. The child you refer MUST ENROLL AT THE RETAIL RATE as noted in our camp brochure (note that if multiple children are referred, the sibling discount still applies to that family). 3. The entire camp fee and any registration/membership fees MUST BE FULLY PAID for your own child(ren) and the child(ren) you refer. 4. YOUR NAME MUST be indicated on the referred child s registration form. Once these 4 easy steps are met, you receive a $150 check from the JCC for each child you refer. That s right, REFER 2 CHILDREN AND GET $300 AND WITH 3 CHILDREN YOU RECEIVE $450. THERE S NO LIMIT! REFER 10 CHILDREN AND GET $1500! This program applies to ALL Soref JCC locations including Heron Lakes Family Center, Alvin S. Gross Activity Center and the Plantation Perlman Family Campus.
The Soref JCC Rules.. 1. It is the policy of the JCC to apply all payments in a priority order. Only after outstanding program and registration balances are fully paid will any payment be credited to the camp balance. There will be a fee of $35 for any returned check. 2. All cancellations or changes must be made in writing. There will be NO refunds for withdrawals after camp has begun. Camp deposits and/or tuition fees are non-transferable and nonrefundable. 3. The JCC does not provide refunds or credits for absences, whether it be for illness, vacation, inclement weather or relocation. NO exceptions. 4. The JCC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel enrollment or dismiss any camper whose conduct, influence or behavior is deemed detrimental to the best interest and safety of himself/herself or others. In such cases, there will be no refund. 5. Prior to the start of camp, an Emergency Medical form MUST be on file for your child. This includes authorization to treat, emergency contacts, allergies and concerns. 6. A nutritious Kosher lunch is provided for all camps, except Aliyah (travel camp). A camper will receive as many servings as requested. Two snacks will be served daily. Any special dietary requests will be accommodated. 7. During camp, a nurse or paramedic is on duty in the infirmary on campus. All medications must be provided to the infirmary in original containers with patient s and doctor s name and dosage instructions. Parents must sign a parental consent form prior to JCC staff administering any medication. 8. All campers receive a camp shirt during the first week of camp. Additional shirts may be purchased for $12 each. Camp shirts must be worn on trip days. 9. JCC accident insurance is required for all campers and is $48 per year. Accident insurance is secondary to the camper s family insurance. 10. If there are any restraining orders or custody conditions, appropriate papers MUST BE FILED AT THE FRONT OFFICE prior to the beginning of camp. You MUST also notify the Camp Director. 11. The JCC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel any camp program and/ or scheduled field trips for any reason whatsoever. 12. Upon request, the JCC will make effort to place children with their friends. However, JCC management reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to determine groupings. 13. The JCC is not responsible for any errors or omissions in this brochure. 14. The Soref JCC reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to give campers as many smiles as possible and the JCC assumes no liability for excessive smiling. Round Trip Bus Transportation Transportation will be available at the Coral Springs JCC locations at 748 Riverside Drive and at our Heron Lakes Family Center at 5601 Coral Ridge Drive. Parents must remain with children until the bus arrives and must be at the pick up point in time for the return of the bus, unless the child is enrolled in extended care. JCC management, in its sole discretion, will determine CIT s assigned groups and reserves the right to change assigned groups at any time for any reason whatsoever. Community service hours are given at the completion of camp.
