Checklist & Guide for the development of a FIED WING COMPANY OPERATIONS MANUAL for Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) 703-Air Taxi and CARs 704-Commuter Company: Date: The contents of Company Operations Manual are governed by Commercial Air Service Standard (CASS) 723 and. The following checklist and guidance material are provided to assist air operators in developing a manual to the CASS as appropriate for their type of operation. The checklist here is intended for air operators utilizing multi-engined aeroplanes or single engined aeroplanes operating under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) or Vlsual Flight Rules (VFR) at night. Complete the column to identify what section in your manual the required information is located and return this form with your manual submission. Legend: Shaded column is for Transport Canada use only. Columns 723 and identify whether the Company Operations Manual item is required under that subpart. Requirements will be indicated by an in the appropriate column. The absence of an indicates that the item is not required for that subpart. Air Operators, at their discretion may add information that is not required by regulation. The column is a list of the required items as identified in the CASS. The letter annotations at the start of this column correlate directly with the respective CASS and do not necessarily follow sequentially in this text. The column will be annotated if the Company Operation Manual item is required for your particular operation. The column is where you indicate a paragraph reference number where the information is located in your manual. Supplementary Reference and reference to a CAR or CASS will be shown any time there is another regulatory reference that governs that particular item. All attempts have been made to maintain an accurate list of references. Please report any discrepancies to Greg McConnell (AARB); email mcconng@tc.gc.ca, phone 613 990-9638 fax 613 954-1602.
