What Happens at Carnival? Sprts days: Turnaments & Unstructured Scial Events pening ceremny / dance parties, beach/pl party / harbur cruise, fun run / clsing ceremny etc Cmmunity Day Shabbat (Friday night service) ALL SPORTS & EVENTS ARE COMPULSORY
Sprts Bth cmpetitive & participative sprts will be ffered Participants are nt required t select turnament sprt it is an ptin fr thse that want t play cmpetitively This will take place in parallel with ther sprting activities Teams will cmpete in netball, sccer, basketball, futsal, tennis & biathln (swim & run) Participants can select up t 2 f the abve sprts (with biathln as a 3 rd ptin) Teams will be selected, taking int accunt the standard f the participants current playing level Participants will need t advise the rganising cmmittee f their current playing level and the divisin they play in Participants d nt need t play fr a current Maccabi club there is a spt fr everyne!
A Typical Day at Carnival Mrning: 9am / 9.30am arrive Sprts/activities 10am-12.30pm Lunch (prvided) 12.30-2pm Relax in the chill-ut zne Mre fd/snacks & drinks available t purchase Afternn: sprts/activities, 2-4pm Pick up 4pm/5pm Hme t freshen up / shwer / eat Evening: Scial functin starting 7pm/8pm, usually finishing by 9.30pm/10pm

Billeting Depending n numbers, a 1:1 billet/hst rati is usually applied Yu may arrange yur wn billet with a hst family please advise n the registratin frm Other billeting requests will be cnsidered, but will nt be guaranteed (multiples, medical etc) Include yur request fr friends with friends when yu register, but there are n guarantees Billeting allcatins based n: Gender / Age / Shmer Shabbat / Kashrut / Sprts All participants are expected t stay with Carnival hst families in Sydney, nt with families/husehlds utside f Carnival (family/relatives included). Every adult in the hst husehld will be required t submit a valid wrking with children check The billeting manager has abslute discretin t make decisins as best fits the billeting plicy.

Travel Arrangements 15 th Jan 2019 (Melb - Syd) departing 10am 22 nd January 2019 - (Syd - Melb) departing 12 pm Team Management & Yuth leaders will travel with the team Recmmendatin all participants within Grup Bking Alternate travel arrangements/bkings are pssible (e.g pints bking r separate flight must ntify team management) Fr these arrangements, apprpriate meeting/drp-ff pints will be rganised with parents
