Maria works as a house maid and Antonio works in a convenience store, together earn $500 USD per month. They live in a small house, the walls are made with disrepair wood, the roof is made of sailcloth, and dust ground, in total the house is less than 12m2. Their dream is to have a better house and have an organized neighborhood. Ana Mendoza and Roberto Guzmán Ana and Rodrigo are the proud parents of 3 children, Sofía, Esmeralda and Yahaira and are waiting for the 4 th. Their incomes reached the $560 UDS per month. They live in one room, 16 square feet, made with disrepair materials. They dream of having a well founded home. Jose Adoño and Nancy Salas Jose and Nacy have two girls, Valeria is 6 years old and she is at her third year of Kinder garden and Abril is 3 years old. Right now they don t work. Their house is really small, the walls are made with old bricks, the roof is just some plastic bags and the floor is just dirt. They dream is to settle all the problems with their property and give their girls a better life. María Ponce y Juan Antonio Ramírez Maria and Juan are the parents of Dylan, a little baby who is 2 years old. Recently Juan lose his job, Maria is who supports for now the family with an income of $150 USD per month working as a housemaid. Their dream is to have a good house for them and the little Dylan. Maria Martinez Maria is a single mother with three boys, José who is 17 years old, Daniel, 15 years old and Cristian with 11 years. José studied till 7th grade, Daniel still studies the 7th grade and Cristian is in the 2nd grade. Maria works as a house maid and José works in the construction industry. Together they earn $420 USD per week. Their house has approximately 14m2. The walls and the roof are made of trash and second hand materials; their floor is simply soil. Their dream is just to keep their piece of land and their house.

Margarita Botello and Ramón González Margarita and Ramón are an elderly couple, Ernesto is their 30 years old son and Carol their 6 years old. Both Ramon and Ernesto work in construction and earn together $210 UDS per month. Currently they live in an only room of 25 square feet made of disrepair materials and dirt floor. They dream on Carol can continue in school and that the job doesn t end. Arturo Nieves and Berenice Escoto Arturo and Berenice have two kids: Jesus and Vanessa, 10 and 5 years old. Arturo works in the construction industry. He is the only one who works and earns $380 per month. Berenice can t work because of Vanessa, she is too small and no one can take care of her. Luckily they are a healthy family, although Berenice suffers from migraine time to time. They live in a small house made of three rooms, the walls are made of brick, the roof is made of Metal sheet and the floor is pure dirt and dust. Their biggest dream is finishing their house. Adán de la Cruz Baltazar and Sirena García de la Cruz Adan and Sirena have four kids, Reyna 19 years old, Adriana 14 years old, Fernando 13 years old and Susana 8 years old. Adán works in the construction industry and Sirena works as a housemaid. They earn $300 USD per month. They live in a small room, the walls of their house are made of trash, same as the roof and the floor is dirt. Their biggest dream is having a house so they keep out of diseases caused by the dirt they currently live in. Jesica Ortiz and José Manuel Jiménez Jesica and Jose have three kids: Jose Guadalupe (15 years old), Citlali Estefania (13 years old), Karmen Sarai (9 years old). Jose work as a gardener, Jesica stays at home to take care of the kids; Jose also works in a bakery store. Their weekly budget is about $450 USD per month. The whole family suffers diseases, Jesica and Jose are overweight, Jose Guadalupe has flatfoot, Citlali has respiratory diseases and the smallest kid Karmen has a heart murmur. They live in a small house made of trash and the floor its only dirt. Their biggest dream is having a better house. Judith Rodriguez and Francisco Flores A family of five: Judith, Francisco and their 3 children: Atziri of 8, Jennifer of 4 and David of 3 years old. Their only income is $210 USD per month that Francisco earns working as a stonemason. They live in a little room made of wood, metal sheet roofing and dirt floor. They dream of having a good home.

Maria de la Luz and Carlos Flores Maria and Carlos are a very young couple, Maria is 20 years old, and Carlos is 23 years old, they have two kids: Cristina is the oldest one she is 7 years old, Raul is the youngest, he is one year old. Their weekly budget is about $210 USD per month. Carlos work as a car washer in the streets. The income isn t always the same, the budget it s an average. The walls of their home are made of half-life wood, the roof its Metal sheet and the floor is dirt and dust. The biggest dream they have as a family is having their own house. Gabriela Rojas and Ricardo Herrera Gabriela and Ricardo have four children: Mónica, Rodolfo, Edgar, and Kimberlin. As a family, they have low incomes from their construction jobs and scarce sales, amounting to an average of $630 USD per month. Gabriela and Monica stay home to take care of the younger children, limiting their job and education opportunities. They live in a house with two rooms. The walls are made of plywood and cardboard scraps, as well as their roof. Under their feet, they have dirt floor. In spite of the adversities, they dream of having their own house with a green yard to play in. Rubi Sención and Jose Alfredo Andrade Rubi and Alfredo are both 18 years old, completed 9th grade, and they have a 2 year old baby boy named Jose Alfredo. Alfredo works in the manufacturing industry, with a job that pays $360 USD each month. This income helps them as they live in a dirt-floor room made of pallets, boards, and asbestos sheets as roof. Fortunately, all three are healthy, but each day they strive to overcome their situation. Their family s dream is to continue their education up to a college degree to have better opportunities. Flor Alvarez and Eduardo Sandoval Eduardo, 20 years old, and Flor, 21, have three children, from ages 1 to 5. As Flor takes care of their children at home, Eduardo brings in an average income of $330 USD per month as a construction worker. Currently they live in a single-room house made of plywood walls, dirt floor, and scraps of materials as their roof. Their biggest accomplishment would be to own the land plot where they live in. Rosa Quintan and Isaías Chavez Isaías, 31, and Rosa, 34, have two children: Joanna Elizabeth born in 2002, and Juan José, born two years later. As a family, they face constant challenges, since Rosa has leukemia, their son has Down s syndrome, and their daughter requires psychological help. Isaías earns $485 USD per month to satisfy his family s needs, working in construction. They live in a dirt floor room, with cardboard, plastic, and wood scraps that make their walls and roof. Their dream is to own the plot they live in and build their own home.

Benito Herrera and Aniel Bautista Benito and Aniel have two children: 6-year-old Alex and 4-year-old Mayte. Benito sells corn for a living, bringing an income of $240 USD per month. His wife suffers from anemia due to malnutrition, and they all live in a single-room house. Their living conditions are framed by dirt floors, trash walls and scrap roof. Their dream is to have a lasting house of their own. Noemi Estrada and Oscar Zamora Noemi and Oscar, 28 and 32 years old respectively, have five children from ages 14 to 3: one girl and four boys. Oscar can t work because he does not have any official documents (birth certificate, educational, etc ), but Noemi works as a housemaid in several houses, earning $660 USD each month, in spite of the anemic condition she suffers. As their family lives in a house with dirt floors and scraps for their walls and roof, Noemi and Oscar dream of giving their children the necessary education and a decent house to live in.
