The Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire A newsletter from The Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire. May CARERS WEEK 12th-16th June To celebrate National Carers Week, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers in Hampshire is holding many events across the County. Pamper Days, Train Ride, Afternoon Teas and Boat Trips. See what s happening in your area inside.

Dear all, Carers week is fast approaching and this year it runs from 12th-16th June. The theme is Building Carer Friendly Communities. Communities which support carers to look after their loved ones, while recognising that they are individuals with needs of their own. Currently 1 in 8 of us are carers and the aim is to reach out to the thousands of carers that are missing out on advice, information, support and services as well as acknowledging all carers commitment. If you know of a fellow carer please let them know that they can contact us or bring them along to one of the many Carers Weeks events, details of which are in this newsletter. I am delighted that this year we are working in partnership with Bluebird Care to hold 5 events across Hampshire and working with West Hampshire CCG on another event in Eastleigh. I look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Best Wishes Kerry Hearsey MBE Every effort is made to ensure that the information provided in this newsletter is accurate.
