Field testing and performance Field testing Malaria Consortium in Uganda performed field tests on DawaPlus 2.0 nets for a period of three years. In 2012, the Consortium published the final results. Innovation in action Jerry Bucket The all-new, life-saving Jerry Bucket is the result of our collaboration with Oxfam s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) team. The design of the 14L bucket has been upgraded so that it serves as a stackable safe water container rather than a multi-purpose bucket. Its new features include a new HDPE lid that is tightly fitted to the body of the bucket through an improved rim lock design, and a larger 100 mm lid opening with a clip-on cap to allow easier cleaning and filling from hand pumps.
