INFORMATION Pavilion Rentals The Recreation Department offers rentals at our numerous parks throughout the township. Payment Payment is required at the time of registration We accept cash or check (payable to Susquehanna Township) Credit card/debit accepted 3% fee applied The drop box is on the upper level, at the front entrance Program Refund Policy For multi-session programs: In case of cancellation by the individual on date before the class begins, all fees will be refunded. In case of cancellation before the second class, an administrative fee of $5.00 will be withheld. No refunds will be given after the second class or session. For one day activity: In case of cancellation by the individual, refunds will be granted only if the cancellation is made one week prior to the activity and a replacement can be found. Program Cancellations We reserve the right to cancel any program due to insufficient registration in which case a full refund will be issued. Reservations will only be finalized with payment. We cannot hold your reservation without paperwork and full payment! Pavilion rental fees; $15/hour on weekends and $12.50/hour Monday Friday. We also charge a separate $25 refundable deposit. This fee will be returned after the event if there are no problems. Please write separate check for this deposit. Our parks are open dawn to dusk. Our Most Popular Park Pavilions: Veterans Park: Located at 1955 Elmerton Ave. This is our largest park. There are 9 tables, a kitchen and restrooms available. Edgemont Park: Located at Edgemont Road and Locust Lane. There are 6 picnic tables in the newer pavilion along with restroom facilities. Crown Point: Located at 2445 Walker Mill Road. There are 4 picnic tables available & restrooms. This park is perfect for a small get-together! *Other smaller parks also available! Our park pavilions fill up quickly in the summer! Don t delay! Campers will participate in arts & crafts, games, and field trips*. Children will be grouped by ages and participate in lots of organized fun based on the theme of the week! SUMMER 2018 CLASSES AND CAMPS DRONE SAFETY COURSE Ages 13 and up Session I: Saturday May 19, 2018; 10 am Noon Session II: Saturday, June 2, 2018; 10 am - Noon Introduces hobbyist and professional students to FAA UAA regulations, basic drone components, piloting safety, traveling with a drone. Includes some flight time (weather permitting) Each participant must provide his/her own drone and sign a waiver of liability. Develop and improve vocal projection, breathing technique and stage presence while incorporating choreography and acting. At the end of the week present a concert! The camp will cover the basic baseball skills (fielding, throwing, and hitting) as well as more advanced skills (bunting, specific positions, and pitching.) Learn through direct instruction, practice, and while playing a variety of games. CAMP II Ages 13 18 Monday, June 18 22; 12:00 pm 3:00 pm Players should be experienced with baseball and ready to learn more advanced and position-specific skills. Will cover basic skills but will concentrate more on preparing players for success in higher levels of baseball. 4
