In house ladies group of the Hawthorn Football Club Number 1 January 2018 GO HAWKS IN 2018 We wish the Hawthorn Football Club all the best for a fantastic season. Once again we are happy to sponsor Jack, Ricky, Marc and Monique good luck for 2018 guys! Monique Trusler AN EARLY START TO 2018 A very happy Thornbirds bunch enjoyed a lunch at Mulgrave Country Club on Friday 12 th January. This was the first time we had got together so early in the year. It proved very successful as we had 20 members attend. It seems we really enjoy having an early footy fix!! Just a reminder Membership is due by 31 st March Membership form is at the end of this newsletter. http://www.hawthornfc.com.au/fans/fan-groups/in-house-groups#thornbirds Page 1

PLEASE NOTE!!!!! A CHANGE TO OUR FOREST HILL COFFEE MORNING VENUE. Unfortunately, the Yours D Liciously café which we had enjoyed for our Coffee Mornings has closed down. We are trying out a new venue for our Forest Hill Coffee Mornings. The first one is scheduled for Fri 9 th Feb at Hahndorf s Forest Hill, Shop 170 Forest Hill Chase Shopping Centre (Ground floor, near Aldi). We look forward to seeing you there. **************************************** Last year we held a very successful Easter Egg Raffle with proceeds going to Royal Children s Hospital Good Friday Appeal. This is a very worthwhile cause close to our hearts so we are repeating this once more! If you would like to contribute some Easter Eggs could you bring them either to the Forest Hill Coffee Morning on Fri 9 th Feb or to the BHGC AGM. Win the Wizard Wrapper will once again prepare the raffle prizes and has requested the eggs to be at least of a medium size small eggs are very fiddly! The Easter Egg raffle will be held at BHGC Coffee Morning on Fri 23 rd March instead of 30 th March as that is Good Friday.
