3.1 The Trail of the Okanagans Society Page 6 of 21 Introducing our Way-Finding Project Located at the intersection of the TCT and the Trail of the Okanagans, Summerland has the potential to become a major cycling hub. Unfortunately cyclists cannot find their way to trailheads, businesses and facilities. We have formed a working group with TOTA, RDOS and the Summerland Chamber to define, procure and implement a cyclist way-finding infrastructure comprising markers (electronic beacons and/or signs) at a downtown location and at major trail heads. An interesting pilot for the TOTA region that helps promote Summerland as a cycling destination.
