The location of the hotel offers breathtaking panoramic views of the town and the coastline below. Just half a kilometre from the centre of the town, the hotel has 44 bedrooms and 18 villas. With a relaxing ambience created by a series of extensive terraces around a pool and beautifully laid out gardens, the hotel provides guests with tranquillity. This setting along with the traditional Cypriot hospitality has made this a favourite retreat for many guests who return to the hotel year after year. COMMUNICATIONS If you wish to contact the hotel please call +90 392 8155850/51/52. There is a phone in your hotel room which has access to an outside line via Reception. Outgoing call costs will be advised by Reception but you can make room to room calls free of charge. The hotel can be contacted by email at info@onarvillage.com. Free Wi-Fi is available in the Lounge, Restaurant and Bar. COMPUTER There is a computer based at Reception for guests use. DIETARY REQUIREMENTS If you have any dietary requirements such as vegetarian, low cholesterol or gluten free, please notify the Reservations Department at Noble Caledonia. We will endeavour to accommodate your needs. Once checked in, please speak with the Maitre D on your first night to confirm your needs. DINING AND DRINKING Dine in the Onar Village restaurant with amazing views of the Mediterranean Sea and of Kyrenia town below. The menu offers local and international cuisine. Start your morning with a typical Mediterranean breakfast, with yogurt, fresh fruit and local pastries served by the friendly staff. During the day, the pool and the terraces are the perfect setting for a light bite or a lazy lunch. In the evening, the bar is lively with conversation and laughter. Enjoy a pint of local beer, a glass of chilled wine or the famous local cocktail - the brandy-sour. DISABLED FACILITIES As the holiday village is situated on a hill, it does not have dedicated disabled facilities. Access to all the rooms require the use of some steps. DRESS CODE You may dress however you feel comfortable, whether it be casual, summery or smart, it s up to you. ELECTRICITY The voltage is 220 volts. All bathrooms are equipped with a shaver socket. There are a limited number of adaptors available in the hotel, which can be provided upon request. EMERGENCY PROCEDURES In the unlikely event that this should occur during your stay, we ask that you remain calm and follow the instructions of the staff. We request that as soon as you enter your room, you carefully read the safety instructions fixed on the inside of your hotel room door. END OF STAY QUESTIONNAIRE Your comments are important to us therefore we ask that you fill in the questionnaire sent with your final documents. We are always looking for ways to improve your holiday and in order to do this we need some feedback from our guests. LAUNDRY SERVICE A laundry service is available in the hotel. Laundry bags and the price list can be found in the wardrobe in your hotel room. Please fill in the laundry list and leave it together with the bag of laundry and call reception to have it collected. In the interest of the environment, towels will not be automatically changed every day. We ask that you put used towels in the bath if you wish them to be changed for fresh towels. Towels left hanging on the towel rack will not be changed. LIBRARY There is a small library where guests can borrow any book they wish. Guests often donate their read books to the library at the end of their stay. LIFT There are no lifts at the hotel. All rooms are accessed by the use of some steps. LOST PROPERTY Before you check out, please check your hotel room to ensure that you do not leave anything behind. If you discover you have left any items behind, please contact Noble Caledonia directly. If we are able to recover your item(s) we will contact you to arrange delivery or collection, any costs incurred will be at your own expense. MAIL Letters and postcards can be left at reception for posting. The post leaves the hotel each day from Monday to Friday at 10.30am (Excludes National Holidays). Postage can be purchased at Reception and must be paid in cash. PUBLIC AREAS Lounges and Terraces: The hotel s lounges, with open log fires and soft couches are the perfect place to relax with a book. Alternatively, guests can enjoy the sunshine on the extensive Terraces taking in the breathtaking views of the mountains, Kyrenia and the Mediterranean Sea beyond. Freshwater Pool: This pool is surrounded by extensive terraces with sun loungers, has a swim-up bar, and is a firm favourite with our guests. Pool towels are provided with coupons obtained from Reception. The pool bar provides drinks and snacks throughout the day in season. Indoor Pool: Operates in season. There is also a Jacuzzi, sauna and Turkish bath. Guests wishing to use the sauna should request this at Reception one hour before wishing to use the facility. ROOM ACCOUNT All guests will have their own room account and can settle their bill at the Reception at the end of their stay. Prices are shown and charged in Turkish Lira. Your room account can be paid in: Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) Cash (Turkish Lira, Euro, British Pound, US Dollar) ROOMS AND VILLAS Onar Village has 18 villas and 44 hotel rooms. Both types of accommodation are air conditioned and offer considerable comfort. Standard Double / Twin (24ft x 12ft): Rooms are spacious and decorated in soft colours and each room has its own private balcony. They feature double / twin beds, seating area with armchairs, and en-suite bathroom with bath and shower. Facilities include television, refrigerator/minibar, hairdryer and telephone. Onar Villas (21ft x 26ft): The garden villas are set amongst landscaped pine tree gardens. Each of the 18 villas has a master twin bedroom, a living room which converts into an additional twin bedroom, dining area, bathroom with bath and shower (bathroom is accessed by steps from the living room), and a spacious terrace overlooking the gardens, Kyrenia and the coast below. Decorated in soft colours, the villas offer a spacious seating area and a writing desk. The kitchen is not equipped for self-catering. SAFE There are a number of safety deposit boxes at reception. Should you require one, please contact Reception. A refundable deposit is required. SAFETY DRILL AND SAFETY Emergency evacuation procedures are located at the back of your bedroom door in the event of an emergency. SMOKING POLICY Onar Village offers a smoke free environment. Smoking is not permitted inside the hotel. Smoking is permitted only outside. Smokers are requested to take the comfort of other guests into consideration. Garden Villa TELEPHONE CALLS Calls to other hotel rooms can be made free of charge by dialling the room number directly. However, to contact the Villas, 20 or 2 must be added before the villa number, for example, to dial Villa 7, 207 must be dialled and to dial Villa 19, 219 must be dialled. You can make external calls from your room via Reception.
