2.5 DAY SAFARI This safari experience takes you into the heart of the Ngorongoro Conservation area, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Covering over 8300sq/km and teeming with wildlife, Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa's top safari destinations. Masses of flamingos stand tall, turning the landscape pastel shades of pink, whilst scores of wildebeest thunder through the plains during the annual migration. There is a high chance that you will see a black rhino, and make sure you look out for lions, zebras, elephants and more. Animals share this dramatic landscape with the local Maasai people, and we have the chance to explore and understand life within the Crater for the local tribes people. Itinerary DAY 1: Lake Manyara National Park We depart early and drive through the rolling landscape of Lake Manyara NP where we will have the chance to see the thousands of flamingos for which the park is renowned for. We stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing with a game drive in the afternoon en route to before eventually reaching our lodge in our lodge located in the Karatu Highlands. DAY 2: Ngorongoro Crater We rise early and enjoy a full day tour of the Ngorongoro Crater, this is Africa s largest intact caldera, with awe-inspiring views from the crater s rim to the floor which is 700m below. Chances are high that we will spot some great wildlife today and so make sure you have a good zoom on your camera! DAY 3: Elephant Caves This morning we have a fantastic walking safari experience to visit the Elephant Caves through the Ngorongoro forest. We will then return to our lodge for a relaxing lunch before we make the transfer back to Kilimanjaro airport for our flight to the UK. 2 P a g e

5 DAY SAFARI The most popular National Park in the whole of Africa, the Serengeti is also a World Heritage Site, famous for is the migration of 1,500,000 white bearded wildebeests, 250,000 zebras and 300,000 Thompson Gazelles that takes place each year. Join this safari to witness this spectacular natural phenomenon. We have mobile safari camps inside the national park, which offers an intimate, flexible and up close experience of this bustling East African savannah. Outside the height of migration season, wildlife viewing is still in its abundance with some spectacular viewing opportunities. Lion prides, buffalo, groups of elephants and giraffes can be seen as well as leopards, cheetahs, jackels, spotted hyenas, Grant's gazelle to name just a few as well as over 500 species of birds. Itinerary DAY 1: Lake Manyara National Park We depart from our accommodation and drive through the rolling landscape of Lake Manyara NP where we will have the chance to see the thousands of flamingos for which the park is renowned for, as well as other species including the tree climbing lion! We stop for a relaxing lunch before continuing with a game drive in the afternoon before eventually reaching our lodge in the evening. DAY 2-4: Ngorongoro Crater and Serengeti National Park For 3 days we explore the Ngorongoro Crater and the world famous Serengeti, with 2 nights in a mobile camp and a night in a lodge. During our game drives we should be able to spot some of the big cat families as well as zebras, giraffes, buffalos and many more! On day 3 there is also the option to take a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti for stunning views across the plains. DAY 5: Return to UK Today we experience the early morning sunrise and after breakfast descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for another day s game drive, where we should be able to spot the beautiful Black Rhino. In the early afternoon we make our way back to Arusha and then on to Kilimanjaro airport where we catch our overnight flight back to the UK. 4 P a g e

3 NIGHTS IN ZANZIBAR Zanzibar is an archipelago of tropical islands in the Indian Ocean off the coast of Tanzania, and just a short flight away from Kilimanjaro. As the number one beach destination in East Africa, Zanzibar is the perfect way to end your Kilimanjaro climb, where you can scuba dive, go deep sea fishing, take a relaxing boat around the islands or simply flop out on a sun lounger, chill out and catch up on some well deserved rest! Itinerary DAY 1: Arrival to Zanzibar We depart from our accommodation in Moshi and drive to Kilimanjaro International Airport for a morning flight to Zanzibar (dependent on availability). On arrival, we transfer to your beach accommodation, check-in and take our first steps onto the white sands of Zanzibar. DAY 2-3: Rest & Relaxation Your well-deserved beach relaxation continues for the next few days depending on how many nights you have booked. How you spend your time in Zanzibar is entirely up to you! There are plenty of activities and day trips that the hotel can arrange for you or relax on a sun lounger on the beach! DAY 4: Return to UK Today you have the majority of the day to spend catching your last sun-rays before heading to Zanzibar airport to catch your flight back to the UK. What s included?
