Corporate Partners: Its official: TopGolf is coming to Orlando Orlando Business Journal - The Buzz Richard Bilbao Topgolf Entertainment Group announced plans to open a new Topgolf facility near International Drive in 2017. The company, which revealed its plans Jan. 28 during the PGA Merchandise Show currently being held in Orlando, said the facility will be 65,000 square feet at Convention Way and Universal Boulevard, and will begin construction in February. The facility has been in the works since last September. The three-level location will include up to 3,000 square feet of private event space and 102 climate-controlled hitting bays that can host up to six players at one time. Up to 450,000 visitors are expected to visit the Orlando Topgolf facility in its first year in operation. Below please find photographs of this Hospitality Celebration: The facility is expected to create 450 full- and part-time jobs and can have an economic impact of more than $264.5 million over the next decade. 5

Orlando is one of the biggest entertainment and tourism markets in the United States," said Zach Shor, Topgolf vice president of real estate development, in a prepared statement. "With more than 50 million people per year going for the theme parks and conventions, Topgolf is sure to be a go-to venue for people looking to entertain and be entertained." The Paramount Hospitality team at the Golden Pineapple Awards Dinner Gatorland to debut new attraction Orlando Business Journal - Morning Edition Megan Ribbens The Alligator Capital of the World is bringing a new attraction online. Orlando-based Gatorland next week will debut its newest zip line ride, dubbed the Gator Gauntlet. The ride allows participants to travel 350 feet down a zip line over the park and its lake of alligators. Gator Gauntlet also is wheelchair accessible, giving its visitors with mobility challenges and other disabilities the chance to participate in all its park experiences. Gatorland worked closely with the Florida Disabled Outdoors Associaiton, which provided consultation on the design and construction of the Gator Gauntlet. The Tallahasseebased nonprofit organization promotes recreational opportunities for people with disabilities. It is so important that we allow families to participate in all of our park experiences without anyone being excluded, said Gatorland CEO Mark McHugh in a prepared statement. In addition to accessible viewing stations in all of our shows, the parks very first ride that began tours in 1971, the Gatorland Express Train Ride, was upgraded to allow wheelchair access and security on the train cars in 2001. We are constantly looking for ways to make our park a safe and enjoyable experience for all of our guests regardless of their unique needs. Shelly Weir of AHLEI and CFHLA President / CEO Rich Maladecki present Thac Pham of the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress with the Outstanding Steward / Dishwasher Employee of the Year Award CFHLA Board Member Carlton Hudson (left) and the honorees of the Hard Rock Hotel at Universal Orlando Resort Gatorland will offer a three-day 6

promotion Feb. 4-6 to debut the new Gator Gauntlet ride. Heres the lineup of events: Feb. 4: Military veterans with mobility challenges can reserve a free ride on the zip line. Feb. 5: Free rides are available to Florida Disabled Outdoors Association (FDOA) members with mobility challenges. Feb. 6: Middle- to high-school age children from Orange and Osceola schools who have mobility challenges can ride free. Disney-area land sells with possible plans for hotel, commercial center Shelly Weir of AHLEI and CFHLA President / CEO Rich Maladecki present Joel Padilla of the Waldorf Astoria Orlando with the Outstanding Housekeeping Employee of the Year Award Orlando Business Journal - The Buzz Richard Bilbao Carter Hospitality Group's purchase of 6.44 acres near Walt Disney World may pave the way for a 900-room hotel and office and commercial center. Carter bought the land on Ravallo Resort Drive for $3.5 million from two different owners, Daishin Ravallo USA LLC and James R. Boyce Trust, who came together to form the parcel needed to close the deal. That land sale was brokered by Lawson Dann, senior vice president of Avison Young in Orlando. CFHLA Board Member and Treasurer Jetse Pottinga (back right) and the team of the Melia Orlando Suite Hotel There are no clear plans on what the land will hold, but entitlements call for at least a 900-room hotel. In addition, there's potential for both 65,000 square feet of commercial space and 2,400 square feet of office space, according to plans provided to Orlando Business Journal. Executives with Carter Hospitality Group could not be reached for comment. An old rendering, which does not belong to Carter, provided with the land's sales flyer shows an upscale hotel with a grand porte cochere and a main water feature at its entrance. Whatever Carter has planned for the property could take on a different look and approach than what originally Shelly Weir of AHLEI and CFHLA President / CEO Rich Maladecki present 7

was envisioned for the property. Corthee Wiggins of the Hampton Inn & Suites Orlando North / Altamonte Springs with the Outstanding Front Office Employee of the Year Award "The number of allotted [hotel rooms] and the entitlements were really what made that deal happen," Dann told Orlando Business Journal. He said the transaction is part of a hot streak Orlando's hotel market is on, which has investors interested in buying and developing in the area. "You are seeing all facets of the hotel industry going up, thanks to the tourist industry and occupancy rates staying strong." CFHLA Board Member Jim Haughney (back right) and the team of the Orange Lake Resort Shelly Weir of AHLEI and CFHLA President / CEO Rich Maladecki present Louree Jefferson of the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Orlando Lake Buena Vista with the Outstanding Convention Center / Banquet Employee of the Year Award 8
