In order to ensure you get the most out of your stay, plan in advance by submitting your Request Forms early. Our Conference Coordinators are here to help you with planning your itinerary and any special needs such as wheelchair accessibility and first-floor rooms. Your group can be divided according to interests and levels, or activities can be planned that the entire group can enjoy. Let your group participants know about their recreational choices by directing them to SnowMountainRanch.org. Alcohol We do not sell or serve alcoholic beverages and alcohol is not allowed in common areas. You may bring your own and consume it in your lodge room, cabin or meeting room. Computers Computers are located at the Buckboard Grill and the library. Free wireless is available in the Administration Building, all lodges, and in six, seven and eight-bedroom cabins. Maid Service Service is limited. Please ask your Conference Coordinator for details pertaining to your accommodations. Payment & Cancellations Full payment is due at check-out. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, checks and cash. Please discuss your payment options with your Conference Coordinator. If you are a travel agent, full payment is due 45 days prior to arrival. You must report the guaranteed number of rooms, cabins, campsites and nights by the date shown on your contract. If you cancel after this date, you will incur a cancellation fee and your deposit will be forfeited. Pets NO pets, except service animals, are allowed in lodges and retreat cabins. Quiet Hours For the comfort of all guests please respect our quiet hours from 10 PM 7 AM. Self-service Laundry Coin operated laundry is located behind the swimming pool. Boxed meals can be ordered a day ahead (see page 7) and should be picked up by the group leader during open hours at the Buckboard Grill. Please make copies of this form for each meeting room/breakout room needed. Additional meeting room space may be reserved at a rate of $5 per person/per day/per meeting room, based on availability (minimum charge $50 per day). ACTIVITIES AT SNOW MOUNTAIN RANCH Stay Pass One Stay Pass per guest is included in the price of your lodging accommodations and can be picked up when you check in at the Administration Building. Your Pass should be worn during your stay to allows us to recognize you as a guest, and provide you with access to activities. Day Pass If members of your group are not staying at Snow Mountain Ranch, they will need to purchase a day pass (ages 6 and up) at the Administration Building or Program Building. Ages 5 and under and YMCA members (with proof of Y membership) receive a free Day Pass. Day Passes can be purchased for multiple days. FREE ACTIVITIES The following activities, depending on the season, are included in your stay. In most cases, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult 18 years or older. Some activities may require a refundable deposit for equipment rental. Year-round Indoor Basketball, billiards, foosball, indoor pool, indoor roller rink, table tennis, volleyball. Spring, Summer and Fall Bocce ball, croquet, hiking, horseshoes, ladderball, trike park,18-hole mini golf and 9-hole toddler mini golf course, playgrounds, sand volleyball, tennis, tetherball, 18-hole disc golf, historic sites (seasonal activities are weather dependent). Winter Ice skating, snow tubing, sledding, dog sled presentation, Nordic ski trails, fat bike trails, and snowshoe trails. Family-Friendly Activities When you check in, pick up a copy of our Program Bulletin. You ll find information on scheduled activities, musical performances, dancing, wildlife education, family campfires, night hikes and other family fun! Historical Sites The Rowley Homestead lets you experience the way life was as a Rocky Mountain rancher in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Indoor Swimming Pool Lifeguards are on duty during all scheduled pool times. Cameras, camera phones and video equipment are not allowed in the pool area or locker rooms. 25-yard heated pool and adult lap time aquatic climbing wall and slide sauna and showers Library Stop by for a wonderful selection of books, games and free Wi-Fi. We also have computers available for use. Summer Tubing Hill Our tubing hill is open from June through September (weather permitting). Groups up to 70 people can reserve one hour time slots. For reservations call 970-887-2152, x4135. Trail Running/Walking Snow Mountain Ranch offers miles of beautiful trails for running, hiking, and walking. OTHER ACTIVITIES The following activities require pre-registration and a fee. Faith-Based Programs Vespers Campfire Vespers campfires are a combination of fun camp songs, skits, Scripture, prayer, and s mores. Faith-based High Challenge Course Confront your fears and realize some of your untapped capabilities. A leader will guide your group through a safe experience, then lead your group through an exploration of the experience. Spiritually Focused Climbing Wall A leader will relate the climbing experience to Ecclesiastes 4:9-12 and help your group discover how Together is Better in climbing, life and faith. Faith-based Low Challenge Course A custom designed low ropes experience that builds teamwork in your group, relating scripture to real-life situations. Devotional Hike This is a guided hike up the Grand View Trail. Along the way your group will read and discuss eight devotional meditations around the eight beatitudes. Fishing Fishing areas are located on our property. No license is required at Gaylord Reservoir. Equipment rental is available at the Program Building. Please call 970-887-2152, x4135. E-mail: fun@madadventures.com madadventures.com WINTER ACTIVITIES Nordic Center The Snow Mountain Ranch Nordic Center offers more than 100 km of cross-country and snowshoe trails, which can accommodate the first-time cross-country skier and snowshoer to the elite racer, as well as skiers with special needs. The Nordic Center s full- service ski shop is where you ll find deals on group lessons, private lessons, snowshoes, skate and classic ski rentals, and the latest ski gear and apparel for sale. Shuttles to Ski Areas Winter Park Resort: shuttles are available for groups of 15 or more.
