Stroh River Place Detroit, Michigan The Stroh River Place involved the adaptive re-use of a collection of historic buildings along the Detroit River. Phase I included complete renovation of the 300,000 sf signature building; a newly constructed 1,250-vehicle parking deck; and extensive exterior development, including plazas and courtyards. The 300 River Place renovation included extensive interior demolition and reconstruction, as well as major exterior renovation work. Inside and out, the turn-of-thecentury architecture was preserved through use of brick, limestone, granite and terrazzo.
