IN Waste Management and its disposal on the territory of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina are treated through a spatial plan documentation - Provincial Institute for Urban Planning made it for the large number of Municipalities in Autonomous Province of Vojvodina. European Union legislation - implemented in The National Strategy of Solid Waste Management in Serbia, and legislation of the Republic of Serbia, which regulate this domain.

IN The planned new network of regions for solid waste managing in the territory of AP Vojvodina Bačka: 1. Municipality of Sombor, Apatin, Kula, Odzaci and Bac with the regional landfill centre in Sombor; 2. Municipality of Subotica, Backa Topola, Coka, Kaniza, Mali Idjos, Senta, New Knezevac with the regional landfill cetre in Subotica; 3. Municipality of Novi Sad, Backa Palanka, Backi Petrovac, Beocin, Zabalj, Vrbas, Srbobran, Temerin with the regional landfill centre in Novi Sad. Banat: 4. Municipality of Kikinda, Ada, Zitiste, Nova Crnja, Bečej, Novi Bečej with the regional landfill centre in Kikinda; 5. Municipality of Pancevo and Opovo with the regional landfill centre in Pancevo; 6. Municipality of Vrsac, Bela Crkva, Alibunar, Plandište with the regional landfill centre in Vrsac; 7. Municipality of Zrenjanin, Secanj, Kovacica, Titel with the regional landfill centre in Zrenjanin. Srem: 8. Activities of Municipalities in the Territory of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina in the Formation of Waste Management Regions
IN New Law on Planning and Construction - harmonization of adopted spatial plans and spatial plans in working phases according to this Law Regional Spatial Plan of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina and New Strategy on Waste Management are in preparatory phase Final preference for the formation of regions, the choice of regional landfills and transfer stations sites, as well as focus on the responsibilities now on municipalities with the coordination of all activities on the territory of Autonomous Province of Vojvodina by Provincial Secretariat of Environmental Protection and Sustainable Development and Provincial Secretariat for architecture, City Planning and Civil Engineering.
