On the one hand, in the beach modernist city of Sada, we invite you to that take advantage of your stay in this important Marina for nautical activities. Afterwards, you will enjoy discovering the details of the process of beer making. And in Betanzos, you will take the Hop and Galician beer route, which you will introduce you to a lot of stories related to the association of this territory with the cultivation of this amazing product. Finally, you shall not resist the temptation to walk the cobblestone streets of this medieval town, which was engaged in trades as traditional as Goldsmith. DAY 1 a SADA MARINA The shelter this estuary provides and the possibilities of navigation throughout the year make this port one of the preferred by lovers of sailing and water sports. The sports dock, the largest in all of Galicia and one of the best valued in the North of Spain, offers all kinds of nautical leisure services. Enjoy the views of the estuary from the seaside district of Fontán, located in the upper area of the harbour. In addition, do not miss the opportunity to embark and sail among the wooden platforms of mussel farming and the cultivation of algae of the estuary. b. BANDUA BEER After sailing, visit the facilities of a newly created company, which will allow you to know the process of making the Bandua beer. This type of craft beer is characterized for not using any chemical additives, pasteurization nor filtration process. Afterwards, try it! DAY 2 c LUTEGA Hops technology of Galicia (Lúpulo Tecnología de Galicia LU.TE.GA) is a newly created company that works on the replantation of the cultivation of hops in Galicia, as well as its processing and marketing among major domestic producers of beer. Through the visit to its facilities, you will be able to participate in the pruning, cutting, trellising or even in the harvest, not to mention a final tasting and pairing of beer with the best products in the area. Today it has been rehabilitated as a Civic Center. We can also point out the nearby metal bridge of the railway line Betanzos-Ferrol, as well as some remains of old factories of light or the curious hops dryer platform, which is abandoned to this day. e. e ANAROSETÓN This goldsmith, located in the historic centre of Betanzos, is famous for its well-known collection of Romanesque Galician rosettes, as well as for its Chestnuts Rosary (made in copper, and reproduces the Rosary of cooked chestnuts that children wore hanging around the neck on November 1, All Saints Day), and the amulet of the Chestnut of Envy. The pieces are mainly made in sterling silver, and follow the traditional methods. Visit it and you will see how the items that have surrounded you during your trip can become jewels!
