Upon arrival, go through customs, gather your luggage and meet your driver for your private transfer traveling to Doolin. Doolin is a village on Ireland s west coast. It is known as a gateway to the ancient sites on the Aran Islands, just offshore. On the way to Doolin, you will stop for lunch at a local pub, and then visit the Cliffs of Moher. You will have the opportunity to enjoy the cliffs from two angles; today take a 1-hr cruise to see a spectacular views from the sea and tomorrow walk sea cliffs Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure.
2 Friday August 31 DOOLIN Private Doolin Cliff Walk. This morning after breakfast meet your local historian and farmer who will lead you on a trail through green fields of cows and sheep on one side and pounding waves from the Atlantic Ocean on the other. Along the way you will hear the history and folklore of the rural lifestyle enjoyed by generations. 3 Saturday September 1 DINGLE Travel to Dingle. After breakfast, meet your driver for your transfer to Dingle. The Dingle Peninsula, on Ireland s southwest Atlantic coast, is ringed by sandy beaches and craggy cliffs. Inland are rolling hills and mountains, including 952m Mount Brandon. The region s an officially recognized bastion of Irish language and culture. Along the way you will tour of Slea Head. The circular route, starting and ending in Dingle, passes by several points-of-interest with stunning and spectacular views. 4 Sunday September 2 DINGLE Upon arrival at your hotel, check-in and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Freedom Day. This is a full day to explore independently. The village of Dingle is full of shops, pubs and the famous Murphy s Ice Cream Shop. This isn t just ice cream, this is ice cream perfection. Try Pink Champagne Sorbet, Honey Cardamom or Chocolate Whiskey if you want a WOW. Ireland is synonymous with crystal making and there is certainly no exception to the rule when you make a visit to the Dingle Crystal workshop just outside of Dingle Town. With any luck you may also meet the owner, Sean, who began his love of crystal creations at the renowned Waterford Crystal House.
5 Monday September 3 6 Tuesday September 4 Travel to Killarney. After breakfast, meet your driver for your private transfer to Killarney. Along the way, you will enjoy a tour of the Killarney Valley. You have the option to walk or take a traditional Irish jaunting car through the 7-mile glacial Gap of Dunloe before the 14-mile boat tour of the Lakes of Killarney. You ll also visit Ross Castle before ending in Killarney. Upon arrival check-in to your centrally located hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. Full Day Ring of Kerry. After breakfast, meet your driver for a private full-day tour of the Ring of Kerry. Today you ll tour the top half of the Ring. This tour includes a visit to the fishing village of Portmagee, views of Skellig Michael, and much more. On your way back, you ll pass through bog lands and the possibility of a turf-cutting lesson. Evening Free. Spend the remainder of the evening exploring independently. 7 Wednesday September 5 Freedom Day. This is a day to explore independently. The town of Killarney has much to offer during the day, and plenty of pub food and music in the evenings. You might also consider a visit to the Muckross House including the Muckross Traditional Farms, a re-creation of a rural townland in 1930 s Ireland, with actual working farms complete with people and animals. 8 Thursday September 6 Travel to Dublin. Today, after breakfast, meet your driver who will take you to the rail station in Killarney for a train ride to Dublin. Upon arrival taxi to your centrally located hotel and enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. You may want to get to know the city with a Hop-on-Hop-off pass.
9 Friday September 7 Book of Kells Tour early access. Tour Details: Visit the Trinity College Library, home to the famous Book of Kells widely considered among the most important of all Ireland s ancient treasures. Listen as your guide brings medieval Ireland to life, shedding light on the Book of Kells profound historical significance. Afterward, enjoy a guided walking tour around Dublin Castle s mighty exterior. Visit the gardens and yards, and learn of the castle s role as court, fortress, treasury and jail. 10 Saturday September 8 Afternoon Free. Freedom Day. This is a full day to explore independently. There is so much to see and do in Dublin, like the Dublin Castle, but perhaps you would like to visit the charming village of Malahyde and have lunch along the wharf of Howth. 11 Sunday September 9 HOME Depart for Home.
