Day 1 Mexico City *(itinerary subject to changes depending on weather and time of arrival). For those visiting Mexico City for the first time, you should know that most of the tourist attractions are located in the historic downtown center of Mexico City: Constitution Plaza popularly known as El Zocalo, the imposing Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Palace and the archaeological area of the Templo Mayor.There is also a large number of museums housed in colonial houses. Just a few blocks from there we find Plaza Garibaldi, a beautiful square surrounded by the deep flavors of tequila and mariachi music. A short 20-minute walk due west will take you to Plaza de la Republica, which houses the underground museum Monumento a la Revolucion. The Latin American Tower is a skyscraper located on the corner that forms Madero Street and Eje Central Lazaro Cardenas within the historic center of Mexico City. Its central location, height (597 ft; 45 stories) and history make it one of Mexico City's most important landmarks. Day 2 Mexico City In KidZania children will: Play to be adults in a city of their own size where they will find services, shops, industries, residences, restaurants, and the most common means of communication of a real city. Live the experience of becoming a doctor in a hospital, a professional model on the runway, a culinary school chef, and a baker of cupcakes, a producer in a television show, and more than 100 different professions and occupations. Will understand the value of money through a unique monetary system, with the kidzzos, the official currency of KidZania, children will be able to earn, save and purchase services or products. Develop skills and attitudes that will benefit their creative minds and will encourage self-esteem and self-confidence. Xochimilco- Undoubtedly, one of the most wellknown, admirable, and symbolic places of the metropolitan area in Mexico City, is Xochimilco. This world heritage site finds its roots from the time of the Aztecs, where many of the plants grown areused for decoration and consumption for the inhabitants of Tenochtitlan. Day 3* Jalcomulco, Veracruz * (itinerary would change) Jalcomulco,Veracruz invites you to visit and delight yourself with the local flora and fauna as well as enjoy a shot of adrenaline in our river rafting class 3-4. Enjoy other activities such as rappelling, ziplining, Temazcal (sweat lodge) and hikes that will leave you breathless. And to supplementtheir adventure we have our section of sustainable tourism with workshops such as prawn fishing, traditional cuisine, typical music, organic gardening, useful plants, farming and more. Finally, we will go to the famous Port of Veracruz in the city of Veracruz, in the region of the Gulf of Mexico. This destination is known for its beauty, but especially for its historical, artistic and cultural heritage. Day 4 Port of Veracruz PUERTO DE VERACRUZ For the past 85 years, the franchise Parroquia de Veracruz has delighted the palates of hundreds of people who love to enjoy a good cup of coffee from Veracruz. Boca del Rio has 8.5 miles of quiet, gentle surf and sand that characterizes the Gulf of Mexico.Have all the comforts and security making them one of the best tourist beaches in the country. The Castle of San Juan de Ulúa, is a large complex of fortresses, prisons and one former palace on an island overlooking the seaport of Veracruz that has been witness to countless historical events. The Veracruz Aquarium highlights the content and importance of its exhibitions that is more than 500 meters long, where children and adults are amazed to observe a wealthy collection of magnificent species. UNESCO declared the historical center of Puebla a world heritage site on December 11, 1987. It contains 2,619 preserved monuments in 391 blocks spread over 6.9 square kilometers, being one of the cities who harbor the most monuments in the Americas. Day 5 City of Puebla The Cathedral is considered one of the most important museums harboring art treasures from as late as the Spanish Colonial Period. Rosario Chapel.- the masterful altarpiece, onyx pulpit, plaster work, and gold leafing contribute to the characteristically flamboyant Mexican Baroque style Museum of the Mexican Revolution is located in the house of the Serdan-Alatriste family. Here is where the Mexican Revolution began on November 18, 1910. In 1960 it opened its doors as a museum. The Artist's Alley is an attractive corner with a Baroque fountain adorned with sculptures where you can take a nice walk and observe painter's workshops or artists working in the public view. This bohemian district of Puebla is perfect for a leisurely stroll or to sit in a coffee shop to watch the colorful street environment. Day 6 Teotihuacan, city of the Gods Teotihuacan, which in Nahuatl (the language of the Aztecs) means "city of the Gods" or "the place where Gods are made," is one of the most stunning locations in the Mexican Republic and the world, being the place where the spiritual and material knowledge of the Mesoamerican peoples generated the highest architectural and artistic expression in the Americas. Built during the colonial era, the National History museum known as the Castle of Chapultepec is an symbolic building of the city of Mexico and of the republic; it houses a large part of Mexican History from the 15th and 20th century. Originally, it was a chapel in honor of the Archangel San Miguel. It later became a gunpowder factory and the home of Emperors Maximilian and Carlota. The Lake of Chapultepec is one of the sites in Chapultepec with the longest tradition. Many families choose it as a good option to include in their visits to the forest. Day 7 Mexico City The National Museum of Anthropology is one of the most important museums of Mexico and Latin America. It is designed to house and display the archaeological heritage of the peoples of Mesoamerica, as well as accounting for the current racial diversity of the country. The collection of the National Museum of Anthropology is comprised of numerous archaeological and ethnographic pieces from all over Mexico. Among some of the most symbolic pieces of the collection include the Sun Stone, which is the heart of the museum itself, monumental Teotihuacan sculptures dedicated to the gods of water, the treasure of the tomb of King Pakal, also a Toltec Atlant brought from Tollan-Xicocotitlan and a Tlaloc monolith guarding the entrance to the museum. We will focus your child's experiences so they may assimilate, live, and not forget easily the language. This project is focused in the development of communication in another language, that is, in getting our students to be able to understand and communicate consistently in different situations, learn to be sociable, to respect rules, to accept mistakes, to manage values, to respect others, work as a team and to prepare through play to face life.
