STADIUMS Argentinean Stadium Kings Park Durban The stadium location for All Blacks vs Argentina on 1 October is still to be announced. What we can be sure on is that the atmosphere will be electric. Argentinean rugby fans are patriotic and passionate and are famous for creating a festival stadium atmosphere, especially when their beloved team faces off against the All Blacks. We will advise all customers as soon as this stadium has been announced (which we expect will be in March / April). Kings Park Stadium, otherwise known as the Shark Tank opened in 1958. The stadium hosted many games at Rugby World Cup 1995 and has a capacity of 52,000. Kings Park has been the home of Rugby in Durban since 1891 and the South Africans usually take the pre-match entertainment very seriously with a variety of dancers, acrobats and other performers presenting choreographed routines. The last time the All Blacks met South Africa in Durban was in 2009, when the home side prevailed 31-19, with fly half Morne Steyn scoring all points via a try, conversion and eight penalties. 17
