Key Highlights 1 Business performance of 1Q2018 1 1. Vingroup (ticker: VIC) reported that consolidated net revenue reached VND 29.1tn (+84% YoY), in which revenue from sale of inventory property was VND 20.4tn (+94% YoY). Other segments also delivered outstanding growth with Consumer retail revenue up 75% YoY, Hospitality up 54% YoY, Leasing up 22% YoY, Social Infrastructure (Healthcare and Education) up 58% YoY. Profit after tax registered VND 1.009tn (+70% YoY). 2. As of 31 March 2018, Vingroup s total assets were VND 223.8tn, (+5% compared to 2017YE), and shareholders equity was VND 59.2tn (+13% compared to 2017YE). 2 Key highlights of 1Q2018 1. Vinhomes launched the first high-end project in Thanh Hoa called Vinhomes Star City. The project will occupy a total site area of approximately 1,185,000 square metres and total GFA of approximately 1,453,000 square metres, in which GFA for sale is approximately 1,359,000 square metres. Vinhomes Thanh Hoa is the first integrated villa township developed in Thanh Hoa city, offering local residents an exceptional living option in a gated compound. 2. Vincom Retail launched 3 Vincom Plaza malls in April, and is on track to launch 2 more Vincom Plaza in May, raising the total number of malls to 51 in 28 cities and provinces by the end of May 2018. The three malls opened on 28 April, ahead of a long Reunification and Labor Day public holiday. 3. Vinpearl launched Vinpearl Discovery Nha Trang Empire Condotel. With 1,200 rooms, this is the 18 th hotel developed and managed by Vinpearl, and is the first city hotel opened in 2018, bringing the total number of keys managed to over 7,200 keys nationwide. 4. VinFast announced plan for e-car and hatchback. In March 2018, VinFast announced the plan to produce e-car and hatchback models and revealed a collection of 36 concept models for public voting. VinFast also planned to introduce the first sedan and SUV in the Paris Motorshow 2018 in October and has engaged Pininfarina to build these prototypes. 5. VinUni established to provide tertiary and post graduate education and research in Vietnam. The school has also established strategic partnerships with the world s leading universities including Cornell University and University of Pennsylvania.
