Guest speakers will include Lieutenant General Gary L. North, the Commander, 9th Air Force and U.S. Air Forces Central and General William T. Lord, Commander, Air Force Cyberspace Command. This celebrated event will be attended by over 200 of the Air Force s most influential senior leaders. The unrivaled two day Symposium and Expo will be capped by the spectacular AETC Ball. Air Education and Training Command Symposium & Air Force Association Exposition January 14 15, 2010 Location: Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center (HBGCC), San Antonio, Texas Purpose: Annual symposium offering 3,400+ attendees a multitude of venues to learn about current and future environments of recruiting, training, and educating our airmen, along with operational and emerging topics and issues. Information is offered through two keynote speaker luncheons, 90+ individual breakout sessions organized by topic tracks, and an Exposition Hall offering 120+ military, industry, and education exhibitors and vendors displaying leading edge capabilities and information. Theme: Develop America s Airmen today... for tomorrow. Partnership: MC² and Alamo Chapter of the Air Force Association partners with HQ AETC and manages the Exposition Hall through support from Industry and Commercial sponsorship. Additionally, the Alamo Chapter, AFA, partners with HQ AETC to execute the annual AETC Ball which takes place on Friday evening, following the symposium. Exposition Hall: MC² will manage an Exposition Hall throughout the symposium that will contain military, industry, and education exhibitors and vendors displaying leading edge capabilities and information that relate to recruiting, training and educating our Airmen, along with other operational and emerging subjects. The Expo Hall will be open at breakfast on Thursday, 14 January 2010, and remain open throughout each day of the symposium. Breakfast will be offered on Thursday and Friday in the Exposition Hall, and there will be an Exhibitor s reception for symposium attendees on Thursday evening. Keynote Speaker Luncheons: There will be a keynote speaker luncheon on Thursday and Friday, included with the registration fee. The speaker for Thursday, 14 January 2010, is still pending. The keynote speaker for Friday, 15 January 2010, will be General Victor E. Renuart, Commander, US Northern Command. Attendance: We expect 3,400 attendees, mostly from AETC units, but with attendance from other USAF and military units, industry, commercial, education, and private sector.
