Take part in Hong Kong Business of Design Week 2012 on 6-8 December 2012 Denmark is a partner nation for this year s Hong Kong Business of Design Week (HKBoDW), the largest design event in Asia with almost 100,000 visitors. In 2012, the design event takes places for the tenth time, which is marked with a number of exciting anniversary events that are expected to attract some of the big names from the last ten years. HKBoDW is always carried in cooperation with a partner nation. Last year s partner nation was Germany; previous partner nations include Japan, France and the Netherlands. Now, it is Denmark s turn, which makes it particularly relevant to take part this year, as the week includes a large number of activities aimed at branding Denmark. Denmark was selected based on the concept Design Society Denmark, and one of the main events will be an exhibition showcasing our finest achievements and capabilities within design and innovation. You are hereby offered the opportunity of taking part in this event as an exhibitor. The HKBoDW event is more than a design week it is a platform for business and longterm partnerships. Throughout the year, the event is preceded by initiatives aimed at giving the partners insight into each other s culture and business methods and the potential for cooperation. As part of these preparations, a large delegation from Hong Kong visited more than 50 companies, designers, organisations and institutions of education in March, and a student exchange programme has been launched. In cooperation with the Confederation of Danish Industry, the Danish Design Centre invites you to take part in the Danish exhibition. 1
